Stock Overview Report
Purpose
To determine how much stock of a material is on-hand by the organisation levels ( eg plant, storage location), stock type (eg blocked, unrestricted, quality inspection) or special stock type (eg sales order, consignment).

If you are executing this report from the menu (See above), the following screen is displayed (skip to next step if from Material Master or BOM):

Enter material number then click on the EXECUTE icon (F8): The stock overview is shown in units:

All stock is broken down into categories. Double click on a line see a detailed list of where the inventory is:

Or to see the entire overview for a stock category, scroll LEFT or RIGHT using icons LEFT COLUMN (F7) or RIGHT COLUMN (F8)
Stocks are shown by organizational level: Plant, storage location

1.8. Remember, the Stock Overview is accessible from many places:
FROM MATERIAL MASTER – From any material master view use this menu path: Path: Environment > Stock Overview
FROM BOM – Select an item on the BOM and use this menu path: Path: Environment > Material > Display > Stock Overview
FROM CHANGE NUMBER – Select an object from the object overview screen in the change number and use this menu path: Path: Environment > Other > Stock
