在西方,人们的全名往住由三部分组成:given name (名)+ middle name (中间名)+ family name (姓)。中间名又叫教名,往往可以省略。注意:名在前,姓在后, Mr.、Mrs.和Miss要和姓连用,而不能和名(given name)连用。而中国人的全名由两部分组成:family name (姓)+given name(名)。姓在前,名在后。学习时要注意英汉两种文化的差异。称呼某人时,要说Mr./ Mrs. / Miss + family name,如:Mr. Wang王先生。 Countries England France Australia Canada America China Japan

Teach the words: spring, summer, autumn, winter. They are four seasons T: Boys and girls, what date is it today? S: It’s the 25th of September. T: A big holiday is coming soon. What holiday is it? S: 国庆 T: Teach: National Day

T: When’s National Day? S: It’s on the first of October. T: It’s on the first of October. It’s in October.

T: What do you usually do on National Day holiday? S: I usually… T: What do people usually do On National Day holiday? teach: people Step 3. Pair work.

National Day is a big holiday in China. Do you know any other Chinese holidays ? Step4. A riddle

1.It’s a big holiday in China. It’s in a beautiful season. The weather is not cold or hot. You can have some nice food. Sometimes it’s in September. Sometimes it’s in October. It is a holiday about the moon.

2.National Day/May Day/Children’s Day / Mid-Autumn Festival, they are holidays in China.

3. Do you know any holidays in Western countries?

Step5. Guessing game: What holiday is it? Show the pictures about Easter eggs, pumpkin lantern, Father Christmas, Changer and guess the holidays.

Step 6. Talk about your favorite holiday

My favorite holiday is Mid-Autumn Festival.It’s in Sept.or Oct. People usually watch the moon and eat moon cakes. I like it very much. Because I can spend time with my family.
