Unit 4 He said I was hard-working.Section A

一.知识目标:1.词汇:mad,anymore,message,suppose,first of all,pass on 2.句式:She said she wasn't mad at Marcia anymore.

You were supposed to meet at the bus stop this morning to return it. 二.能力目标:1.转述他人话语

直接引语和间接引语的概念:

直接引语:说话人直接引用别人的原话。例如:He said,\间接引语:说话人用自己的话把别人的意思转述出来。

例如:He said he liked eating junk food.

直接引语变间接引语时要注意:

●1.直接引语如果是陈述句,变成间接引语时,由连that词引导(that在口语中常省略)。从句中 的人称、时态、时间状语等要做相应的变化。例如:

She said,\→She said she was very happy to help the old man.

(1)变间接引语时根据意思改变人称:

例如:Mary said,\→Mary said she was late. (2)间接引语中从句的谓语要与主句的谓语时态一致。

当主句是过去时时,直接引语变间接引语时,几个主要时态的变化规律:

直接引语 间接引语 一般现在时 一般将来时 一般过去时 过去将来时 现在进行时 过去进行时 直接引语变成间接引语时,一些词汇的变化规律:

直接引语 间接引语 1.am/is 2.are 3.have/has 4.will 5.can 6.may 1.was 2.were 3.had 4.would 5.could 6.might 当转述客观真理或事实时,从句时态不变。例如: Our teacher said to us,\→Our teacher told us that the earth goes around the sun.

●2.直接引语如果是疑问句,变为间接引语时,要把疑问句语序改为陈述句语序(主语在谓语前面)。

1)直接引语如果是一般疑问句,变成间接引语时,由连词if或whether引导。例如: He asked me,\l?\

football.

2)直接引语是特殊疑问句时,变间接引语由相应的疑问词what,where,how,when等引导。例如:My sister asked me,\the movie.

●3.直接引语如果是祈使句,要把祈使句的动词原形变为动词不定式,并在不定式的前面加上ask,tell等动词,其句型是ask/tell sb.(not)to do sth.例如:

1.Lana said she wasn't mad at Marcia anymore.兰娜说她不再生玛西亚的气了。 本句中be mad at sb.意思是“生?的气”,相当于be angry with sb.

例如:She was mad at him for losing the match.她对他输了这场比赛很是恼火。 我妈妈很生我的气,因为我没有完成家庭作业.

My mother is ______ ______ me because I didn’t finish my homework.

not?anymore意为“不再”。例如:I will not go there anymore.我再也不去那儿了。 我将再也不是你最好的朋友了。I_____ be your best friend______. 他不再住这儿了。 He ____ live here ______ .

2.You were supposed to meet at the bus stop this morning? 你们应该今天早晨在公共汽车站见面?

suppose是及物动词,意为“猜想,以为,假定,期望”,后接人、物或that从句。 本句中意为“应该,被期望?”。例如:I suppose she will come.我期望她能来。 We are supposed to get there at nine.我们应该九点到那儿。

每个人坐车时都应系上安全带。Everyone ____ _________ ____wear a seat belt in the car. be not supposed to do sth. = shouldn’t do sth. 译作:__________

你不应该上课迟到。You ______ _____________ ________ _________ late for class. 3.return (v.) ①“归还” 相当于 give back

短语:还给某人某物 return sb. sth.= give sth. back to sb.

eg: 请把伞还给我。_____________________________________

② return to someplace “返回某地”相当come/go back to some place. eg: 他就要回上海了。He will ______ ______ Shanghai.

4.message 消息,信息 Pass the message to sb给某人传递个信

7.lucky adj. 幸运的 其反义词为:______;其副词形式为:______ eg: 幸运的是他通过了考试。______, he passed the exam.

8. I had a really hard time with science this semester, and I wasn’t surprised to find that my worst report was from my science teacher.

① have a hard time with sth.= have a hard time (in) doing sth.做某事费劲,有困难 eg: Li Lei has a hard time with his English.李雷学英语很吃力。 我费了好大的劲才通过这次考试。 I had a hard time ______ this exam.

他难以解出这道数学题。He had a hard time working out this math problem. ② be surprised to do sth.“对做??感到惊讶”
