1be impressed by/with sth.对……印象深刻 mpress...on...把……印在……上 impress sth.on/upon sb.=impress sb.with sth.使某人牢记某事 leave/make/create a/an...impression on sb.给某人留下……的印象 She impressed the world with her courage and strong desire to succeed. 她以她的勇气和强烈的成功信念给世界留下了深刻的印象。 I was very impressed by one young man at my lectures. 来听我课的一个年轻人给我留下很深的印象。 夯实基础

(1)用impress的适当形式填空

①The film’s special effects are particularly impressive. ②They were very impressed by the efficiency of the staff.

What impressed him most was their speed. 2make a note/notes of记录?write down? take note of注意?到?;留意?到? make/take notes做笔记

(1)When listening to your teacher in class,you’d better make notes of the key points(记下关键点) so that you could go over them after class. (2)同义句改写

I made a note of her address and phone number before she left.(用note down改写句子) I noted down her address and phone number before she left.

1 Having worked there for 30 years,Haydn moved to London,where he was very successful.在那里工作了三十年后,海顿移居伦敦,在伦敦他非常成功。 句型公式:现在分词短语作时间状语

Having worked是现在分词的完成式,作状语,在句中表示动作发生在主句谓语动词之前或动作已经持续了一段时间,相当于一个状语从句,可替换为:After he had worked there for 30 years,Haydn moved to London,where he was very successful.。 Having finished all my letters,I had a drink and went out. 把所有的信处理完后,我喝了点东西就出去了。

Having been there once,she knew the place quite well.由于去过那儿一次,她对那地方很熟悉。 夯实基础

(1)Dina,having struggled for months(奋斗了几个月) to find a job as a waitress,finally took a position at a local advertising agency. (2)同义句改写

After they had put up the tent,they started to cook the supper.(用现在分词短语改写句子) Having put up the tent,they started to cook the supper.

2 However,it was Haydn who encouraged Beethoven to move to Vienna.然而,是海顿鼓励贝多芬移居维也纳的。 句型公式:It was...who...

?1?强调句型的基本结构为:It is/was+被强调部分+that/who+其他部分?若被强调的是人,可用that或who;若被强调的部分是其他时,一般用that?。另外要注意:原句的谓语动词不能被强调。

?2?强调句的一般疑问句结构为:Is/Was it +被强调部分+that/who...? ?3?强调句的特殊疑问句结构为:疑问词+is/was it+that...?

?4?对not...until...句型中的时间状语?从句?进行强调时其结构为:It is/was not until+被强调部分+that+其他部分。

(1)My teacher had taught (已经教了) in that school for ten years before she came here. (2)I had hoped(原希望) to go to Hawaii,but I didn’t sign up for the tour in time. (3)She stared at the painting,wondering where she had seen it(在哪里见过它). (4)I don’t know what will become of me when I am out of work(当我失业时). (5)He rushed out of the room before I could say a word(在我能说话之前).
