1. Rainy days make me sad. make 的用法：
句中的make作使役动词，意思是“使成为；使作为；使变成”，其后的复合宾语（即宾语
+宾语补足语）有以下表达方式：
(1) make +名词/代词 +省略to的动词不定式
e.g. My parents often make me do some other homework. (2) make +名词/代词+ -ed 分词短语
e.g. What make them so frightened? (3) make +名词/代词+ 介词短语或名词短语
e.g. She made him her assistant. (4) make +名词/代词+ 形容词或形容词短语
e.g. The good news made us happy.

Would rather 的用法： Would rather 意为“宁愿……”，表示句子主语的愿望、选择，后接省去to的不定式。 e.g. He’d rather join you in the English Group.
如果表示“宁愿（可）……也不愿……”则用would rather ...than...结构。在wouldrather和than 后面所连接的两个对比部分一般要一致。 e.g. The brave soldier would rather die than give in. 1. It was so sad that it made us cry.
So...that的用法： So...that表示“如此……以至……”，so是副词，与形容词或副词连用，其结构是: So+adj. (adv.)+that从句。
eg.I am so sleepy that I can hardly keep my eyes open. 知识拓展： such...that的用法
Such是形容词，它所修饰的名词可以是可数名词，也可以是不可数名词；名词前面可以加形容词，也可以不加。如果其后是单数可数名词，前面需要加不定冠词a或an。因此such...that的句型结构可分为以下三种：
注意：①当名词前面有many, much, few, little等表示数量的限定词时，应该用so，而
不能用such. e.g. There were so many people in the street watching the fire that firefighters
could not get close to the building.
②当单数名词前有形容词时，既可用so，也可用such，但不定冠词的位置却有所不同。
e.g. This is such an important meeting that you should attend it.
