I'm not a veteran in this regard, so I'm still perfecting my skills by watching video tapes. There are dialogues videoed to show people how to make excuses and apologies for being late. Suggestions like having one's blood vessels around the neck covered or avoiding body language like vertical movements of the eyes are also included. So whenever I've got time, I insert a tape into a video to develop greater skill.
