《有趣的语言翻译》教案

Types of lesson: Bilingual teaching

Teaching Aim:

1、 了解基本的翻译常识,激发学生学习语言的兴趣;

2、 体会中英文翻译的差异,积累6个短语和4个句子的译文。

Key & Difficult Point:

1、 体会差异,积累词句

课时安排:1课时

学生课前准备:

1、通过工具书,查阅课本上出现的几个生词的读音和释义

多媒体展示:translate/communication

desire/ envision/remote/storey/desire/upper/boundless/flight/pool/homesickness 学生代表试读并翻译 2、了解几句常用的课堂指令。 1)、Can you learn it in groups of 4?(你们可以4人1组学习它吗?) 2)、Who wants to be the volunteer for your group?(谁愿意代表本组?) 3)、Time is up.(时间到。) 4)、Let’s give her\\him a clap.(鼓掌。) 5)、Raise your hands if anyone finishes.(完成请举手。)

教学步骤:

一、 导入:Lead-in

由“翻译的相关知识”导入,明确汉语句型的“竹节”和英文句型 “葡萄”的特点。

教师1:Today , we will study something about translation.

1、 翻译的相关知识:

1) 翻译是把已说出或写出的话的意思用另一种语言表达出来的活动。

实质是用两种不同的语言符号表达同一思想。有直译和意译2种方法。

教师2:

In fact there are two different languages to describe the same mean.

There are two methods to do it ,one is literal translation(直译)and the other is free translation(意译).

2) 英语句式的描述像葡萄;汉语句式像竹竿。

例如:中文:你找到在贴在墙上的写着数字的纸。

英文: Find the paper with number on the wall .

教师3:

So we can see the English sentences look like grapes and the Chinese sentenceslook like Bamboo.

二、比较、欣赏: 教师4:

Now , let’s compare and enjoy.

First, choose A or B about the means of “穷” and “上” which come from the poem.

1、选择“穷”、“上”的解释(黑板张贴) 穷:A、poor B、 end 上:A、on B、 clime

教师5:Well done!

2、 讨论并比较“欲穷千里目,更上一层楼”的3种翻译(见课本)

教师6:

Second, there are 3 kinds of the translation about it ,can you choose the best one, and discuss why?

You can do it in groups of 4.

Who wants to be the volunteer for your group?

3、 赏析李白《静夜思》译文

教师7:

Perfect! Then ,let’s repeat a pome come from LI Bai.Do you remember it?... Well done! Then let’s have a look about the translation. Do you agree with the translator? Why?

三、“英汉互译”: 教师8:

OK, let’s have a rest. Let’s play a game. Please in groups of 4.

I bring some dice for you. When you roll 1, you find the paper on the wall which be written 1

Turn on it ,then read the things on its back ,then come back ,tell it to your partners ,then do it. All of you must do it.

(一)、游戏1:掷色子,选择墙上的对应任务并完成 任务1:翻译Schindler's List; 乱七八槽

任务2:翻译The Lord of the Rings; 易如反掌 任务3:翻译Terminator; 鼠目寸光

任务4:翻译Tarzan; 天长地久

任务5:翻译Roman Holidays; 爱屋及乌 任务6:翻译Sound of Music;入乡随俗

教师9:

Look the PPT,let’s check them.

There are some red bags for the groups, every bag has 4 pieces of paper in it. Everyone need

to choose one of them and do what it tells you to do.

(二)、游戏2:拆红包,选择包内的任务并完成

任务1:翻译:Better late than the late 任务2:翻译:All rivers run into sea. 任务3:翻译:Do as the Romans do.

任务4:翻译:All things in their being are good for something.

教师10:Now ,let’s show the sentences,remember them and close your eyes. One of you take one away, and the others guess which one is missing? Time is up, you’ve done a fantastic job.

四、课堂小结:

由图片“左右开弓”进入小结,进一步激发学生学习语言的兴趣。 多媒体展示:

语文就是指的语言和文字,是我们交流的工具。在学好母语的前提下,多了解一些双方的文化差异,就可以更好地和国际友人交流。当然,如果词穷,可以辅以动作、表情。。。。。。

教师11:

There are two photos come from Carlotta, can you find the difference? Can you tell

us the fact in English?

Can you translate it into Chinese use the words as few as possible? How funny about the languages!

In my opinion, Chinese means languages and words, they are our hands for communication. when we study it better, we know the deference of culture more, we will talk with the international friend better. Of course, when you find your words are not enough, you can use your hands,your face, your feed and so on to help you.

五、布置作业:

教会Carlotta一个成语,包括读音、字形、字面意思、比喻义。

教师12:

Homework: Please tell a story to Carlotta….Include the 读音,how to write,the superficial meaning, the deep meaning.

I think,it,s a little difficult for you ,but when you finish it ,you can into the surprise.
