Unit 7 Would you mind keeping your voice down? (P58-59)
Teaching aims:
1. Knowledge objectives:
⑴Students understand and know how to read and use the new words and phases: etiquette, impolite behavior, in public, drop litter, pick up litter, keep…down, break the rule. etc. ⑵Master and use the sentence structures: Would you mind (not) doing something? Could you please (not) do something? 2.Ability objectives: Train the students’ reading and writing skills.
3.Moral objectives: Learn to follow the rules of etiquette, give suggestions politely, Important and difficult points:

Step1. Warming up (before the class).
Ask “what have you seen?”to talk about the video and the pictures.
Step 2. Pre-reading
Learn some new words and phrases by learning the opposition of them.

1.Read the whole article and find out what the article is about. Using a word to summarize. Then get the students to circle the word “etiquette” in every paragragh. 2.Read the article again, match the main idea with each paragraph.
