Teacher:Do you know yard sale?A yard sale is also called a garage sale,it is a sale where people sell miscellaneous household items that they no longer want from a table outside their house or garage.It is a private sale and it helps to exploit the last profit out of your unwanted or old stuff.

Today we will hear a conversation about yard sale.Let's learn together. 环节说明:通过这一环节让学生了解到了关于庭院拍卖会的一些情况,同时为本节课的听力训练做好了铺垫。

Step 2 完成教材1a-1c的任务

1.认真观察1a图片中的物品,然后在小组内用英语说出它们的名字,比一比谁说得多。(3分钟)

2.图片中出现的物品你家有吗?你拥有它们多长时间了?和你的搭档谈论这个话题。(3分钟)

3.认真阅读1b中的句子,为听力训练做好准备。(2分钟)

4.认真听录音,标出你所听到的事实。完成后集体核对答案。(3分钟)

5.再听一遍录音,并跟读对话。(3分钟)

6.两人一组练习1c对话,然后仿照1c的形式利用图片中的物品,编练新的对话,完成后要求几组学生表演对话。(5分钟)。

Step 3 完成教材2a-2c的任务

1.学生齐读2a中的单词和短语,听录音,用对号(√)标出Amy家将要捐赠出去的物品,圈出他们将要保存下来的物品,集体核对答案。(3分钟)

2.再认真听一遍录音,根据听到的内容,将2b的句子补充完整,完成后请几名学生展示答案,教师点拨。(3分钟)

3.听第三遍录音,学生跟读,整体感知对话。(3分钟)

4.两人一组分别扮演Amy的妈妈和Amy,仿照2c的形式编练新的对话,邀请几组学生表演新的对话。(5分钟)
