Dussehra is one of the main festivals of India.It is mainly celebrated by Hindus around September or October.The celebration of Dussehra continues for almost ten days in some parts of India.The festival celebrates the victory of good over evil(邪恶)．
Lord Rama killed Ravana because he had taken Sita，Rama's wife，away by force.Hanuman helped Lord Rama to reach the kingdom of Ravana and save Sita from his captivity(监禁)．Hanuman set Ravana's kingdom on fire with his tail.Lord Rama had a fierce battle with Ravana and finally managed to kill him.Therefore，this day is celebrated as Dussehra.
