动词不定式的用法 A.动词不定式作目的状语

We do a bird record to study the birds.

He got up early in order to catch the early bus. B.动词不定式做宾语补足语 1.后接带‖to‖ 的不定式做宾补

如：tell/ask/want/invite/need/encourage sb.to do sth/not to do sth. We ask people to protect the birds.

We ask people not to catch birds for any reason. 2.后接不带‖to‖的不定式做宾补

如：make/let/see/hear/watch/notice/listen to sb. do sth. The boy made the baby cry.

My mother often listens to me play the piano.

I saw the students play basketball on the playground yesterday.

3.后接不定式做宾补，不定式可带“to”也可不带“to” help sb. (to) do sth. I often help my mother (to) do the housework..
