transpositonal considerationgood afternoon, ladies and
gentleman. thanks for raising your attention. taday, i’ll give you a speech entitled“transpositonal consideration”.
before starting my speech i would like to ask you a question! have you heard the saying that what we cannot afford to lose is nothing but innovation. yes, i have. i’ve al ways believed it is a truth.
i have heard that three apples changed the world. the first one seduced eve. the second one awakened newton. the third one was in the hands of steve jobs. we sort of think the innovation of the world began with apple.i imagine lots of people want to become another newton or jobs right now with just one hand to change the world, right? have the innovation to follow your heart. it somehow already reflects what you truly want to become. everything else is secondary.
via question, we can start to innovate. via innovating, we can start to create better life. no innovation, no improvement. no improvement, no success. and no success, no civilization.and the key to succssful innovation is always to be persistant we try to innovate, maybe we would feel helpless, puzzled, and sad.
however, this is what we must experience. dont let yourself down! it is innovation that we cannot afford to lose! that’s all, thank you!
break rules, road to successin a chemical lab, a tester was watering a glass water trough. after a while,
water was almost full of the trough, and then the tester was ready to close the water
faucet only to find it cannot be turned off. if water flew out of the trough to
equipment on the workbench, chemical actions would occur to drugs in it thus causing
explosion. silence filled with every corners of the lab, and everyone in the lab sensed
that the death was, step by step, closer to them. at that very moment, a female tester
came with big stride to the trough and punched a hole at the bottom of the trough
with a drug pestle. the water poured straight down. well, everyone was rescued thanks for her.
the trough mentioned in the story is like our habit, or a kind of fixed mindset,
for which we often turn a blind eye to many opportunities to success. however, the
female tester just broke the rule by which others follow that only the tap is closed can they survive.
all these appalling facts should bring us to the realization that it is exactly
the norms and the fixed mindset serve as barriers to innovation, to progress and to success
