In life we can hardly do without friends. So we had a discussion on friends and friendships in class.
We all need friends. Sometimes, we can’t deal with the problems we meet in life and study , and we are in need of our friend’s help. Also, we can share our happiness and sadness with our friends. When we stay with our friends, we don’t feel lonely.
Since friends are so important in life, it is necessary to choose true friends. True friends are those who respect you as you respect them, too. As the old saying goes , “a friend in need is a friend indeed” . When you are in need , true friends will be with you. They are willing to devote themselves to giving you sincere and selfless help. Besides, they often encourage you to do right things and make fewer mistakes.
As far as I’m concerned, true friends should understand and trust each other. When they have different opinions, they should calm down and communicate with each other. I also think true friendships will last forever.
