This year the Chaucer Heritage Trust is holding the Canterbury Tales Writing Competition for school students around the country. Students are welcomed to submit pieces of writing inspired by Geoffrey Chaucer's most famous work: The Canterbury Tales. Who Can Take Part?

The competition is open to all students from primary schools, middle schools and colleges, and pupils who are receiving home-schooling. The three age groups are: Junior—8 to 11 years old; Intermediate—12 to 15 years old; Senior— 16 tc 19 years old. Competitors must include their date of birth on the entry form. Choose ONE of the following: Write a poem about a journey. Write a short beast fable (寓言)which explores an important issue through animal characters. Write stories about the future life of a merchant living on the Moon

through your rich imagination. Style

Think carefully about the language—choosing the words which best convey your meanings and messages. You are encouraged to use everyday language. Think carefully about the characters in your writing and what they say about the world you live in. Word Count: The maximum word count is 500 words. Mr. Oliveux walked across the stage and officially opened the second edition of the charity auction Street for Kids. The event is organized by 33 students who major in art management, with a focus on the international art market, at the Icart School of Arts.
