摘要：通过解放思想、更新教育观念，反思传统医学教育模式存在的弊端，明确医学人才培养新目标，提高开放式医学教育是培养新世纪医学人才要求的认识，思索与探讨面向21世纪的高等医学教育新模式，促进医学教育教学改革的进程。

Abstract: By liberating ideas, renewing the concept of education, and reflecting on the defect of conventional patterns in medicine education, we can ascertain the new purpose of bringing up medical personnel and enhance the open education in medicine, which is the requirement of cultivating medical personnel. By pondering and discussing the new pattern in medicine education that faces the 21st century, we can accelerate the reform in medicine education and teaching .

21世纪的今天，知识经济社会的特点更加明显，高等医学教育的改革与发展面临着新的机遇和挑战。认真审视高等医学教育发展方向，查找传统医学教育办学模式存在的弊端，思索与探讨面向21世纪的高等医学教育新模式是广大医学教育工作者的重要任务。解放思想是改革的前提和基础，实事求是是改革的核心和关键。通过解放思想、转变观念，进一步调动全社会关心医学教育、参与教育教学改革的积极性，摒弃一些陈旧思想和模糊认识，统一思想，凝聚力量，理清思路，开拓创新，加快医学教育的发展，构建适合21世纪高等医学教育的新模式。
