The main menu appears. Press <1> to start a measurement or <2> to continue an existing measurement.

Always enter the following settings that should be valid for the pile to be tested. 总是输入如下对桩基测试有效的设置。

? Press <1> to enter a unique Pile Name. You can enter the pile name before or after the first blow. For pretesting purposes one might prefer to start generating a signal and enter the pile name upon saving the first blow, or to stop the measurement without saving data.

? Press <6> to set the Filter (also known as smoothing factor). Profound advises to use the autofiltering, as set in the Change Settings of the SIT main menu. If activated, the filter cannot be adjusted in the measurement menu.

When disabled, a specific value can be entered by pressing the number buttons: enter a value within the range shown on screen. Press to confirm.

? Press <7> to set the Pile Area. Enter this value using number buttons and confirm with , if the Pile Area is a known value. Press to use the calculator help. Repeat until the right pile type (square or round) appears, enter the correct value and confirm with .

? Press <8> to set the Density of the pile concrete. This is only a necessary setting for the Profound Instrumented Hammer. Enter the value using number buttons and confirm with .

In addition to the settings: 除了这些设置之外:

? Press <4> if you want to add a short Pile Note, e.g. remarks about the pile head or on the position of the pile. During measuring, option <4> can be pressed to enter/change a pile note whenever desired.

Press the SIT sensor firmly on the pile head and hit the pile head with the hammer. Repeat this first blow until the SIT shows a clear signal/reflectogram. Press to save the signal and apply the following blow. For proper evaluation, Profound advises to obtain minimal 3 good measurement signals per pile. When the third good signal is visible on screen, press to save.

Press . Enter an appropriate pile name now, or wait until the first blow you want to save. Repeat steps 1 till 8 for all piles.

2.3 Getting started with the PC software 2.3 开始使用电脑软件

The SIT presents and stores the SIT signals on site. Later on, all data are transferred to a Windows? PC with the SIT PC software for further analysis. This chapter describes how to install and make optimum use of the PC software.

To ensure data protection each SIT has its own unique license file, as described in paragraph 2.3.1. Installation of the PC software has been described in paragraph 2.3.2. Information about downloading, saving measuring data can be found in paragraph 2.3.3.

Each SIT has been equipped with a unique license file. The license file functions as a key to the SIT in order to prevent unauthorized downloading and further analysis of data.

The license file can be used on any PC, but may also be placed in a PC-network in order to enable automatic access for all the users in your company. Several users may use the SIT PC software simultaneously.

Please note: Profound BV provides the license file only once. Distributing the file to third parties enables them to access your system.

The SIT PC software has an integrated database where all downloaded data are saved. The PC software and the database has the following project tree chart:

Project consisting of one or more Measurements. Each Measurement consists of one or more Piles. Each Pile consists of one or more Blows. Each Blow contains one reflectogram.

A new project is created in the PC software. After downloading the data from the SIT the

Measurement needs to be linked to a Project.

One measurement is performed by one person at one location. 测量有同一个人在同一个地方进行。

It is advised to start a new measurement per pile group that has identical settings (surface area, pile length, velocity).
