Ⅰ定义:

名词性从句是指具有名词功能的从句,可在主从复合句中充当主句的主语、宾语、表语和同位语。

* 指出下列句子中名词所做成分： ①My dog is lovely. ②I love my dog. ③This is my dog.

Ⅳ 名词性从句考点:

1.名词性从句的语序均为陈述语序

2. that引导名词性从句时，从句不缺成分；引导定语从句时从句缺主、宾、表等成分。 The news that he told me is that Tom would go abroad next year. 3.that引导主从/表从/同位语从句时通常不省略。 4.引导动宾关系的宾从时,whether与if 通用

I wonder whether/if he will come. ★只用whether，不用if的5种情况： ① whether he likes the present is unclear. It is unclear whether/if he likes the present. ②在引导表从/同位语从句时一般用whether ③It depends on whether it will rain.

④I don’t know whether or not he will come. ⑤I don’t know whether to go there at once .

5. that引导宾从时通常可省,但当that引导两个并列宾从时,第一个that可省，而第二个一般不省 she says (that) her brother will go to see a film, and that he will go shopping too. 6.主语是reason时表从要用that引导

The reason why he didn’t come was that he was ill.

7. 引导名词性从句 whoever=anyone who whatever=anything that whichever=any one that 引导让步状语从句 whoever=no matter who 不管/无论谁 whatever=no matter what 不管/无论什么 whichever=no matter which 不管哪一个 * Whatever happened, he wouldn't lose heart.
