Unit 6 How do you feel?

1教学目标

(一)认知目标

1. 能够掌握四会句子They’re afraid of him. The cat is angry with them.并能在实际 情景中熟练运用。

2. 能够听、说、认读单词chase, mice, bad, hurt和句子 What’s this cartoon about?

3. 能够独立完成Let’s try部分的练习。 (二)能力目标

灵活运用所学语言进行交际。 (三)情感目标

教育学生要有良好的心理状态,善于表达自己的感受。

2学情分析

新版《PEP小学英语》与旧版相比,虽然课程容量变小,但是给老师提出了更高的要求,如何利用背景、图片等隐性的材料,让学生有更多的语言输出和语言实践机会,如何鼓励学生在现有语言支架的支撑下有自我创造的成果,是我们需要思考的问题。六年级英语在小学英语教学中起着承上启下的作用,既是五年级的延伸又是初中一年级的铺垫。我们的学生已有三年的英语学习经验,他们已经形成了一定的认知能力,能有秩序地参与课堂的活动,具有一定的自主学习和语言综合运用能力。

3重点难点

掌握四会句子They’re afraid of him. The cat is angry with them. (二)难点

能在实际情景中熟练运用句型。

突破方法:通过学生熟悉的图片,结合由词到句、替换关键词、跟读录音、分角色朗读等多种方式突破难点。

活动1【导入】Step1

Greetings.

活动2【导入】Step 2: Free talk.

Task 1: Got to know about Miss Chen.

S1: How do you go to school, Miss Chen?

T: I go to school by motorcycle.

S2: What are your hobbies?

T: I like reading books.

S3: What are you going to do this weekend?

T: I’m going to the park with my son.

(设计意图:学生运用已学知识与教师自由交谈,在交谈的过程中增加对教师的了解,学生真正地运用语言去获取信息,增强了学生学习的兴趣。)

活动3【讲授】Step 3: Presentation & Practise

Task 1: Got to know about Miss Chen’s son.

T: Well, is Miss Chen a mother?

S4: Yes.

T: How do you know that?

S4: You are going to the park with your son.

T: Cool! (PPT shows a picture.) Look! This is my lovely son, Jerry. Usually we’re happy. But sometimes Jerry makes me feel angry. See? This is his desk. What a mess!

And I ask Jerry to tidy up the desk. He answers, “Just a minute. I’m watching cartoons.” How does Miss Chen feel?

Ss: Angry.

T: Right. I’m angry. I’m angry with Jerry. ( T shows the word card written: angry with)

T: What about Jerry? How does Jerry feel?

S5: He’s afraid.

T: Yeah, he’s afraid. He’s afraid of Miss Chen. ( T shows the word card written: afraid of)

(设计意图:通过授课教师与儿子的图片,非常自然地引出本课时的重点内容:be angry with与be afraid of。这组图片深深地吸引了学生的注意力,在真实的情境中学生体验、感知新知识。)

Task 2: Look and say.

S6: The big red wolf is angry with the big big wolf.

S7: The big big wolf is afraid of the big red wolf.

S8: The dog is angry with the cat.

S9: The cat is afraid of the dog.

(设计意图:给出学生们熟悉的卡通图片,形象生动,大家都跃跃欲试。在情景中学生能正确运用课时的重点句型be afraid of和be angry with,实现了从机械操练到意义操练的自然过渡。)

Task 3: Talk about the famous cartoon TOM AND JERRY.

T: The picture is from the famous cartoon TOM AND JERRY. The cat usually chases the mouse in the cartoon.

T: Look! What is the cat doing?

S10: The cat is chasing a mouse now.

(设计意图:用《猫和老鼠》的经典镜头猫追老鼠,引出三会单词chase和be chasing的教学,学生在真实的情景中感知新语言,操练新语言。)

Task 4: Let’s try.

T: Well, we like cartoons. What about Sarah and Sam? Let’s listen.

T: Q1: Where are they?

S11: At home.

T: How do you know that?
