Last weekend, my classmates and I took part in a picking activity on a farm, which was about 2 kilometers away from our school. When we arrived, there were all kinds of animals, green fresh vegetables and fruit trees on the farm. An old farmer explained to us how they planted vegetables and fruit and which we could pick. Then we got down to picking under the guidance of the farmers.
We were divided into two groups, one group picking fruits, and the other packing them up. At four o’clock in the afternoon, the activity was over. Although we were tired, we all felt excited because we learned a lot from it. Through this activity, we know how hard the farmers are and how precious the food is. We should treasure the food planted by the farmers.
