四、河南任务型阅读解题步骤 1、通读原文,_________________
2、分析选项,_________________
3、分析设空处的_____________________和________,标注关键信息

For centuries, the Inca city of Machu Picchu was lost in the jungle. Then, in 1911, the American explorer, Hiram Bingham, discovered the ruins (废墟) of it. It is one of the most extraordinary places in the world.
Today it is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Many people choose to follow the Inca Trail (印加古道), a centuries-old path of 43 kilometres that takes three or four days on foot. Others take the train and then a bus for the last part of the journey.
Now a hotel company is going to build a cable car to the top of Machu Picchu. “The cable car is good news for Machu Picchu,” says a company spokesman. “There are going to be a lot more tourists and that means more jobs for the local people. Looking after the ruins is expensive. With the extra money, we can spend more on looking after them.”
However, the plan is not popular in Peru (秘鲁). Ana Redondo, a tour guide, explains the problem. “There are already more than 300,000 tourists that go to Machu Picchu every year. The Inca Trail is crowded. Old tea bags and water bottles can be found here and there. How dirty the Inca Trail is now! The new cable car is going to bring 400 tourists every hour! The company is also going to build a large hotel and tourist centre with souvenir shops, fast food restaurants and so on. It is the end of Machu Picchu.”
Ana is an activist who belongs to an organization named Save Machu Picchu. She says that the organization is going to stop the company’s plans. “Tomorrow we are meeting government officers. Next week two scientists from UNESCO will come here. We will discuss the plans. Next month we are organizing an international meeting. We are not going to stop until the cable car idea is dead.”

Instead of staying at modern hotels and restaurants, they live in the woods and do everything for themselves for a few days to relax.
When you are camping, you make all of your own food. It is rather like a large, many day picnic. Barbeques (烤肉架) are very common while camping. You can bring meat and vegetables to the camp. To make a fire, you can find or bring your own wood and light it with a lighter (打火机).
②Remember to put stones around the fire so that it won’t get too big and dangerous! When the fire is ready, you can cook food over it. Besides meat and vegetables, you can also cook marshmallows (果酱软糖) with the fire.
Children really like this activity at night. The whole family sit around the fire, eat marshmallows, and drink hot chocolate — especially when it is cold outside! Everyone can sing camping songs and dance together.
Camping is a fun activity for the family to do.
Vacation does not have to mean going to visit faraway places, it could be as simple as setting up a tent in a nearby forest! 1. Where do Americans go camping?
_____________________________________________________________________________ 2. Why do they put stones around the fire?
