Upon fulfilment of all the programme’s requirements, graduates may apply for professional registration with the Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board.
满足所有本专业毕业要求的学生可以申请香港注册社会工作者资格。 The degree has an excellent record of international recognition as many of the graduates are practicing as professional social workers in the US, UK, Australia, China, Singapore and many other parts of the world.

? Overseas Placement 海外实习基地
Students are required to complete two placements during their studies. Students can take local placement under the supervision of a team of professional and experienced fieldwork instructors. Students pursuing international exposure also have the opportunity to take overseas placement through the Departmental extensive network with various overseas institutes.
学生必须要在学习期间完成两次的实习。学生可以选择在本次实习，并由专业的导师队伍进行跟进。有去海外实习愿望的同学也有机会通过学部广泛的资源网络与海外其他学院进行联系。
? Problem Based Learning 问题式学习（以问题为导向的学习） To facilitate students’ learning, the MSW Programme has taken the lead to adopt Problem Based Learning (PBL) as a major educational vehicle since the 1990s. PBL is an instructional format characterized by small group teaching and self-study around real-life simulated cases, and the role of teachers as facilitator and tutor. This approach prepares students for up-to-date and career-long learning, which are necessary for professional viability in contemporary society.
为了促进学生的学习培养，本专业自1990年代起已将问题式学习作为主要教学手段。问题式学习有自己的特点，它围绕着现实案例，主要采取小组教学和自学的形式，教师的角色更多的是一个促进者和导师。这种教法使学生为今后在长期的职业生涯中的继续学习做准备，这将对于提升在当今社会的职业生存能力有着很重要的意义。
