数词

一、 数词的概念：表示数目多少或先后顺序的词。

二、数词的分类

数词可分为基数词和序数词两种 表示数目的多少的词叫做基数词。 表示先后顺序的数词叫序数词。

三、数词的用法

1、基数词表示数量的多少，注意与后面的名词单复数保持一致，并注意谓语动词的变化。 如：

There is one egg on the table(one 为一个，egg 是单数形式，谓语动词用is) There are ten eggs on the table.(ten 为十个，egg用复数形式，谓语动词用are)

注意：不可数名词不能与基数词连用，不能说two milk,但可以说two glasses of milk。

2、序数词表示人或物的排列顺序，意思为“第......”序数词前面要加the. 如：

Sunday is the first day of every day星期日是每个星期的第一天

December is the twelfe month of the year.十二月是一年中的第十二个月

3、基数词表示时间有以下几种情况： 1）所有时间都可以表示为：“小时（基数词+分钟）”。 如：6:20 six thirty 7:35 seven thirty-five

9:30 nine thirty 4:15 four fifteen

2）小于或等于30分钟的时间可以表示为“分钟+past+小时”，意思为“几点过几分”

如：6:30 half past six 7:10 ten past seven 8:25 twenty-five past eight

3）大于三十分钟的时间可以表示为“（60-分钟）+to+(小时加1)”意思为：“差几分到几点”

如：8:54 six to nine 11:37 twenty-three to twelve 12:47 thirteen to one 4、

1)记住以下最基本的基数词: one two three foue five six eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen

Fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen twenty thirty forty fifty sixty seventy eighty ninety ,a hundred。
