During the summer holiday this year, I thought I should do something meaningful
instead of stay at home, so I got a job at KFC and worked there a cleaner. I worked
seven hour a day for four weeks. The job was hard and boring and seemed endless,
that made me so tired that I nearly gave it in . After all I stuck to it with
determinations. Every day I started off for work early in the morning and got home

lately in the evening. Finally I finished the job after the new term began.
Although I meet with a lot of difficulty in the work, it helped me understand better
what labor means. I think it is a really successfully experience.

Once there lived a rich man wanted to do something for the people of his town. first he wanted to find out whether they deserved(值得) his help.
In the centre of the main road into the town, he placed very large

Soon an old man came along with his cow. “Who put this stone in the centre of the road?” said the old man, _______ ___ he did not try to remove the stone. Instead, with some difficulty he passed around the stone and continued on his way. Another man came along and did the same thing; then another came ,and another.
