句型：SVO（主语＋及物动词＋宾语）
S V Vt Vt Vt Vt Vt Vt O Noun/Pronoun Infinitive Gerund Wh-word+Infinitive That-clause Wh-clause ⑴ S+ Vt+ Noun/Pronoun
The climate here does not suit me.这儿的气候不适合我。 No one can answer the question.没人能回答这问题。 ⑵ S+ Vt+ Infinitive
He has refused to help me.他拒绝帮助我们。
Did you remember to post the letter?你记得寄信了吗？ ⑶ S + Vt + Gerund
You should practise playing the piano regularly.你应该定期练习弹钢琴。 We couldn’t help laughing.我们忍不住笑了。
【注】①只能接不定式作宾语的动词有：afford; attempt(试图)；dare; decide; desire; expect; hope; intend; choose(愿意); learn; offer; pretend; promise; refuse; wish。
②只能接动名词作宾语的动词有：admit; advise; avoid; consider; enjoy; excuse; finish; forbid; give up(=stop); go on; (can’t) help; keep (on); mind; miss; practice ; risk; (can’t) stand; suggest。
③既能接不定式又能接动名词作宾语的动词有：begin; continue; hate; like; love; start （意思相同）（但would like/love to do）forget; mean; regret; remember; want; need（意思不同）
⑷ S + Vt. +Wh-word + Infinitive
She didn’t know which to buy.她不知道买哪一个。
He didn’t know whether to go out or to turn back.他不知道是继续往前走还是回去。
【注】这个句型常用动词有：ask; consider; decide; discover; explain; find out; forget; guess; know; learn; remember; see; tell (=explain, make clear); think; understand; wonder。 ⑸ S + Vt. + That-clause
I wish I could meet him right now.我希望现在就能和他见面。
The doctor suggested that his patient (should) stop smoking.医生建议他的病人不要抽烟。
⑹ S + Vt. + Wh/how-clause
Nobody will believe how difficult this work has been.没人相信这工作有多难。 I can’t imagine why she left without saying good-bye.我无法想象她为什么不告而别。
