2. Three skills: October, first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eight, ninth, tenth; She / He / I will have a party on October 20th. 3. Let's make and talk.

制作“邀请卡”,然后,邀请朋友参加自己的生日聚会,并在模拟的场景中用英语进行活动,活化语言知识,提高综合运用语言的能力。要求用以下句式进行交流: I will have a party on October First.Will you come to my birthday party?

4. Let's read and chant.

学习字母组合th在单词中的发音/Q/

七.Teaching Steps:

1. Warming-up / Revision (3′)

1)值日生报告:让学生说一说家庭成员生日的日期。

2)Game: Show me 1 and 2.(为操练first 和second作准备)

3)一边展示十二个生肖图片及单词,一边做Let's do: Act like a..... (引入12生肖,指导学生了解其中几个12生肖的生词)

2. Presentation (15′) 1)把十二生肖按顺序分成三大组,运用课件让它们竞跑,让学生猜Who is the

first / second / third ... ?

2)引入first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth的教学。

3)Play a game.

“美丽家园”:给十二生肖安家,出示标有英语楼层的十二层“美丽家园”,让学生读一读楼层,初步掌握表示层楼的序数词读法。

T分别挡住任意两个表格(横的)。指着末被挡住的表格中的内容,让Ss 说出被挡住的两个表格中的对应内容。

4)Give Ss the number. New Year's Day(1st) Tree Planting Day(2nd) Labour Day (3rd)

National Day (5th)

5)Activity: Listen and remember the birthday.

继续使用十二个月份的记事卡,要求Ss把听到日期在记事卡上做记号。对得最多的就是优胜者。

T: Kate’s birthday is on October 1st. Peter’s birthday is on October 4th. …… 6)Listen and repeat.

T: Listen to the tape and then read after it. 7)Just write.

T wrtie Four Skills’ words and sentences on blackboard, ask Ss to follow. 8)Let’s read and chant:

教师拿出一张Beth的照片,对学生说:Look! This is Beth.Her birthday is on Thursday.She ties a thick thread three times.播放Let's read and chant部分的录音两遍。学生跟着模仿,最后,请一半学生按照韵律拍打节奏齐声说chant,另一半给chant配上动作进行表演。然后交换。

3. Practice (10′)

组织学生完成课本第40页的制作表演活动。

At first, ask Ss make birthday invite cards. Write their names and their friends’ names. Then invite their friend, speak in English.

4. Assessment (10′)

Finish the activity book about the lesson.

5. Additional activities/Homework (2′)

1)Design a birthday card, invet friends to come. 2)Make chants.

三.Teaching important points and difficult points: What kind of cake would you like? I'd like a chocolate cake. What shape would you like? I'd like that round cake.

1.准备本课的录音磁带,教学挂图和幻灯片。 2.准备巧克力和果冻的实物或图片。 3.自制不同种类和形状的蛋糕图片。

4.准备用纸剪出的三角形,正方形,圆形,长方形,五角星等。 六.Lesson type: New Lesson 七.Teaching Steps:

1. Warming-up / Revision (2′)

Teacher展示图片,使用cake, chocolate, ice cream, balloon等单词的图片进行复习,用看图片抢答的形式。

2. Presentation (14′)

1)T show the shape cards, ask: What's this? Can you say it in Chinese? Ss:三角形。正方形。圆形。长方形。五角星。…… After Ss answer, T asks: Can you say it in English? S1: Sorry, I don’t know. 2)Reading.

Paste these cards and words on blackboard. Ask Ss to follow.

3)Look and say: Lisa is going to have a birthday party.Her aunt and uncle are going shopping with her.They want to buy a birthday cake for Lisa.Do you know what kind of cake Lisa likes? 4)Listen and answer.

Ss: Lisa chooses a round cake.

T: Yes, clever boy. (OR: Clever girl.)

5)They also get some other things.What are they? Can you tell me? Ss: Balloon and chocolate.
