Filial piety is the basic code of ethics in the ancient Chinese society. Chinese people consider filial

piety as the essence of a person 'integrity,s family harmony, and the nation 'wells -being. With filial

piety being the core of Confucian ethics, it has been the moral standard for the Chinese

society to maintain the family relationship for thousands of years. It' s undoubtedly a traditional

Chinese virtue. The culture of filial piety is a complex concept, rich in content and wide in range.
