Everybody knows that if you cheat, it's important not to get caught. Few things can cause more of chaos. Once, my elder brother got caught cheating on a math final. My parents acted as though he'd committed a federal crime. The assistant principal called them to school, but although the incident caused several conferences, I don't think that anybody ever really understood what my brother was going through. We're just supposed to perform outstandingly as well as always act honestly, but how many adults can actually live up to the standards they set for us?
My father has gotten countless traffic tickets for parking in no parking zones or for not coming to a full stop at stop signs. And you're always hearing about people who don't file their income tax honestly. How about all the corruption in government? Successful adults often accept dishonesty in order to achieve their business goals. Are kids the only ones who are supposed to be perfect?
Most of my friends have cheated on tests in school at one time or another. The kids who never cheat are usually either afraid of getting caught or just don't know how to do it safely. Nobody wants to cheat. But if it's a choice of being honest or of getting a grade, most kids will try for the A. That may sound wrong, but we didn't make the rules, we're just trying to get by. 67. What is the best title of this passage? A. No one wants to cheat! B. Everyone likes to cheat! C. No one can survive a cheat! D. Everyone can fight a cheat!
68. The author owes children’s cheat to the following EXCEPT ___________. A. parents B. teachers C. children D. examinations 69. In the fifth paragraph, the author mainly wants to say __________. A. his father always cheats in his life B. kids are always supposed to be perfect
C. all the adults can not live up to the standards they set for children D. children shouldn’t learn from successful adults
70. Which of the following is true according to this passage? A. The author thinks it is children’s right to cheat in school. B. Most of the author’s friends like cheating on tests in school.
C. The author shows a positive attitude towards a surprise quiz in school. D. The author thinks it wrong to cheat in school.

Since the beginning of human evolution, men have migrated(迁移)across continents in search of food, shelter, safety, and comfortable weather. People still move for these reasons, but new reasons for human migration are arising, such as job relocation(重新安置) and overpopulation.
Three million migrants are moving from poor countries to wealthier ones each year, and increasingly, their destination is a neighboring country in developing parts of the world. People are moving within the developing world for the same reasons as they migrate to wealthier nations. People from poor countries are going to less poor countries, fleeing wars and conflicts. They are also responding to population pressures because some countries are densely populated, and they often have high population growth. Those people need to go somewhere else.
There are three main reasons why people move. The basic categories and percentages are as follows, according to the Current Population Surveys (CPS):
Family-related reasons account for 26.3%, including changes in marital(婚姻的) status, establishing a household and other family reasons; work-related reasons 16.2%, including job transfer, retirement, and other job-related reasons; housing-related reasons 51.6%, including new and better houses, better neighborhood, cheaper housing and other housing reasons; the remaining 5.9% of other reasons are attending college, the change of climate and health reasons.
Americans have been migrating south and west for decades in search of better job opportunities and warmer climates. They have also been moving to places a little far from cities, in search of bigger yards and houses, lower crime rates and better schools. In 1950, nearly a fifth of the population lived in the nation’s 20 largest cities. In 2006, it was about one in ten. That’s why many American people say, “Big Cities Shrink as People Move South, West.”
Between March 2005 and March 2007, 73.4 million Americans moved. Fifty-six percent of these moves were within the same country. Twenty percent were between counties but in the same state. Nineteen percent were moves to a different state. Some families even went abroad.

We have been using Advance with English in the past two and a half years, and recently we have carried out a survey in our class about what we students think of it.
According to the survey, many students are satisfied with several merits. First, it has beautiful pictures to go with the texts, which will greatly interest the students. Besides, the texts are mostly taken from the latest foreign reading materials and the English is quite standard. Above all, every module is closely related to society, from which we can learn a lot.
At the same time, the students also point out some shortcomings. One is that there are too many new words for students to remember them well. What’s more, students often find it easy to forget what’s been learned as the book lacks repetition in its content. Worse still, it is difficult to practise Task or Project in many schools, especially those rural ones.
In my opinion, next time you can choose many interesting reading materials with fewer new words to make sure students can learn better and if possible you can invite some students to participate in the revising work.
Yours sincerely, Li Hua
