I’m a student studying in a senior high boarding school. I go home only at weekends, so I’m always expecting the Saturday night of each week, when my family usually go out for a walk together. Sometimes we go shopping, but more often we just have a casual walk without any special purposes. I love my family and my city.
But recently I’ve found the Saturday night walk less pleasant, because our walk is disturbed by more and more people who are selling things not only on either side of the road, but also on pavements. Usually the pavements（人行道）are narrow, with street vendors（商贩）occupying most of the limited space. It’s difficult for us to walk through crowds of people and all kinds of stalls（货摊）and carts（推车）. Besides, both streets and pavements become very noisy and dirty. To me, our city seems less beautiful and clean than before.
I know most of the street vendors are good people, and what they sell are often useful things. Are my complaints reasonable? I’m not sure. Maybe I’m too narrow-minded. What’s your idea? 【写作内容】

In Binjiang Park last weekend, a voluntary organization called “Green Home” launched a campaign to promote recycling. As can be seen in our daily life, overconsumption of resources has become a common practice, making it urgent to arouse people’s awareness of recycling. There exists the popularity of various kinds of packing bags for goods and what we are supposed to do is to reuse them. In this way, we will consume less resource so the environment is protected to some extent. Besides, if we try our utmost to recycle everything reusable in our life, we can also save some money.

The writer, a senior high school student, complains that street vendors occupy too much space of pavements and streets and make the city noisy and dirty. He is worried that the city is becoming less beautiful than before.
According to what I know, the situation described in the article can be seen every night, especially near some prosperous business areas. The vendors sell various useful things, from shoes to kitchen wears, in very low prices, and therefore they attract many customers. The pavements are noisy, of course, and look messy.
I agree that the stalls and carts make some public occasion crowded and untidy. But that’s the way the vendors, most of whom are good people as the writer says, make their living. The city is not only ours, but also theirs. We students don’t need to worry about earning bread for our family, but they have to.
I think it’s OK to have street vendors, but their activities should be well organized, so as to make the city clean and tidy. For example, certain areas should be set up for them to sell things. What’s more, we can learn good experience from other modern cities abroad. There
must be some way to make things balanced.
