Look at the elephant
T: Come on, boys and girls. Look at the elephant. S1: Wow! Its so big.
S2: Look! It has a long nose and a short tail. S3: It has big ears and small eyes! T: Look there! What's that? S1: It's a panda.
S2: No, it's not a panda. It's a bear! T: Good! A panda is black and white.
教育目标:
1.学生能听懂、会说主要句型“It has?”以及句型“It is?” 、“He has?”、“She has?”,并在各种情境中得体运用。
2.以活动为途径,渗透任务型教学,让学生在玩中学,学中玩,寓教于乐。 3.通过小组竞赛和激励性评价,让学生学会与人沟通合作,形成良好的团队精神。
教学重点:
1.学生能听懂、会说主要句型“It has?”以及句型“It is?”、“He has?”、“She has?”,并在各种情境中得体运用。
2.形容词“big,small,fat,thin,long,short”的运用。
教学难点:
1.句型“It has?”与“He has?”、“She has?”的区别以及运用。 2.形容词“big,small,fat,thin,long,short”的运用。
课前准备:
1.制作教学辅助课件。
2.制作一些动物头饰,有大象、老虎、河马、熊猫、猴子、猫、狗、猪、鱼、老鼠等。
3.在评价方面,制作一个过程性评价——五只青蛙比赛跳远,看谁跳得快,跳得远。

在这个教学环节中,老师带领学生对有特点的形容词进行体验性的表演。
T: Touch your nose. Touch your eye. Touch your ear. Touch your mouth. Touch your tail.
游戏让学生缓解了紧张的情绪,同时对描述身体部位的单词进行了适当的复习,为下一教学环节作了铺垫。

在这里,老师和学生一起找大象的生理特点,把热身环节的形容词和身体部位词语都用上了。
S: It's big.
T: Look, what's that? S: It's a tail.
T: Long or short?
S: Short. It has a short tail. T: What's that?
S: It's a nose. It has a long nose. T: How about this?
S: It's an ear.It has big ears. S: It has small eyes.
T: Look there,what's that?
看完大象,老师学生一起看另一种动物课文里面提到的熊。这一环节是以游戏形式出现的,先只出示动物的局部,让学生来猜,这既是一个发散思维过程,同时又起到了复习单词的目的,还为下一个教学环节起到了铺垫作用。 S: It's a panda. T: Maybe. S: It's a bear.
T: Good! A panda is black and white. T: Here comes an elephant.
在这里出示板书,让学生对本课的知识点有一个完整的了解。板书的左边是一只大象,右边是相对应的句型“It has ?”。 T: Who can say something? S: It has a short tail.

T: OK. Now, listen to the text carefully! What animals can you hear in the test? 在看完动物后,马上进入到课文部分。先让学生听课文,练习听力,同时让学生在情景里尽量理解课文;然后分句听课文;最后跟读课文,对课文有一个整体把握。 S: Elephant, Panda, Bear. T: Read together! Practice
T: Who has a short tail?
这个教学环节是一个发散思维环节,CAI课件提供了三个动物的身体部位,分别是短尾巴、小耳朵和大眼睛,让学生根据这三个部位来说动物,达到复习动物单词的目的。
S: A pig has a short tail.(rabbit/elephant/sheep) T: Who has small ears?
S: A hippo has small ears.(Dog/horse/cat) T: Who has big eyes?
S: A tiger has big eyes.(Panda/Bear/Man) Activities

这是一个操练句型环节。老师制作了许多动物头饰,有大象、老虎、河马、熊猫、猴子、猫、狗、猪、鱼、老鼠等,让每一个学生都选择一个自己喜欢的动物朋友,在小组里讨论自己的动物朋友的特点,再给大家表演。动物是人类的朋友,在这里我适时地贯穿了对学生的情感教育,让学生爱护动物,保护动物,和动物交朋友。

操练,而是每个学生根据自己选择的动物进行描述,操练有趣味性,学生愿意开口练习。 Activities
