1. Why do you love and respect your parents?
Every kid has his beloved parents, so do I. My parents have been looking after me well as I was born . Mother cooks anything nice for me ,Father teaches me to be brave and honest. I love my parents.
They gave me life, hug me warmly and taught me a lot, how to make delicious food and how to become a good person .Because my parents were my best friends and gave me many advices to lead a straight way to success .
As far as I am concerned ,my parents support our family together and they work very hard. I love my parents ,they've done so much for me. What about you, why do you love and respect your parents?
2. Do you have a hobby? Please tell us something about it.
Everyone has his hobby. Someone likes reading, someone likes hiking, someone likes singing.I have two hobbies, travel and listening to music.
I like to go to different places with my family members or my friends. Through travel, I can learn a lot of things, which expands my knowledge and broadens my horizon. I can also make new friends during the travels. This weekend i plan to go to Beijing, it's our capital with many famous scenic spots and delicious food that I have long been yearing for. I love that.
I like listening to music because music can change my mood. When I’m going to do some important things, I may be nervous. Then I listen to music,I will calm down. When I feel tired, I listen to the music. It can relax me both mentally and physically. And sometimes when I want to sleep, I listen to music. The beautiful melody makes me fall asleep faster. Genrally speaking, music can make me happy, relaxed, and cheer up. So,I like it very much. These are my hobbies, what about yours?
3. Differences between Chinese and foreigners
As we all know, there are so many differences between Chinese and foreigners.
For example, the ways of taking care of children are different. In the US, children are more independent. They know what to be at an early age and plan carefully to achieve the goals. In China, Parents usually prepare everything for us! What we should do is to accept without any doubt which means respect.
In China there’re usually many rules to tie down students, such as wearing uniform. But students in American schools have the freedom to choose what to wear. They are enjoying themselves on the way to success when we’re buried in the ocean of paper to pass the college entrance exam!
We can also understand differences from the movie cultural collisions: personal heroism is what foreigners pursue: but in China, unity is strength, persevering! Although the differences are existing, I think relationships between a Chinese and a foreigner should be friendly and equal in further development.
These are my opinions, what about yours?
4. How to build self-confidence
About this topic I have two suggestions.
Firstly, acknowledge your uniqueness. Believe in yourself and know that you are one of a kind. There is no one else like you on this planet. No one looks like you, has the same talents, experiences or perspective as you do. You are unique and are therefore here to make your unique contribution. You yourself have to think you're great because no one else is going to tell you that you are It means we, ourselves, have to build self-confidence and not depend on, or wait for anyone else's approval. How we see ourselves is more important than how anyone else sees us.If we don't work at loving and accepting ourselves, nothing anyone else thinks matters.
Secondly, Give it Your Best. When you do the best you can, with the best of what you've got, you can't help but feel good about yourself and that confidence comes through in everything that you do.
5. If we should idolize pop stars
I am a big fan of michel jackson because his voice is very beautiful to hear , his songs are very attractive and his dance is splendid. The ways of his talking, singing, and dancing have unique characters. What is more,he is enthusiastic about public welfare cause. He has a lot of fans.He is a excellent idol.
Idolizing pop stars reasonablely is acceptable. The problem is that many fans really go crazy in worshiping their idols. There was a girl who was obsessed with the famous star Liu Dehua, in order to chase him , she dropped out of school and spent all the money in her family .But she got nothing but mental disease . I express my sympathy for her bitter experience. At the same time, we can recognize that it no need for us to put effort into star-chasing. On one hand, we ought to know that our duty is to study hard then get a good job and live a better life, we can regard the star as admiration but not the center of our life. On the other hand, we should realize which we respect the star for, some stars may not be so respectable.
These are my opinions. Thank you.
