With technology developing greatly, it is becoming increasingly popular to take selfies with cell phones and share them on the internet. Reasons may account for it. First and foremost, selfies provide a convenient approach to attracting others’ attention for those eager to show off what’s happening around them. Besides, selfies enable them to be informed of comments from others, especially some positive ones. As far as I am concerned, more outgoing and confident as those selfie sharers may become, they can sometimes care too much about external beauty. Some bad comments may also follow. Whenever confronted with these, we should insist that true beauty comes from the within. Posting selfies only adds color to our dally life and thus we should use it as a tool properly.
