HOW TO STIR A COCKTAIL

GUEST EXPECTATION:

I expect that’s cocktails are properly shaken or stirred, I expect that the cocktails taste better than in any other bar I have been in this city.

STEPS 1) Preparation HOW/ STANDARDS Ensure your hands are clean. Assemble all ingredients and set them up in the order of intended use - Clean Ice - Fresh Ingredients TRAINING QUESTIONS 1. Select glass on hand according to the standard recipes 2) Add Ice Scoop ice (number of ice cubes refer to Standard recipes) into mixing glass. 3) Add Ingredients Add ingredients into mixing glass by using a jigger according to the standard recipes. Stir it with bar spoon, the back side of spoon must be closed to mixing glass. 4) Stirring Stir it for 5 – 10 seconds. 1. Why should you use the jigger? Note: This can be the other way around for left handed people. 1. Why you need to follow the F&B – Bar & Lounge/Night Club to the standard recipes. 7) Serving it Put it on counter for the wait/tress to collect it. Serving it immediately while it is fresh. If you are dispensing a round of drink includes cocktail, prepare last. Return all ingredients & utensils to their proper place. 8) Clean Wash, rinse & dry utensils as required 1.
