-between 在….之间（两者）

--A man is standing between two policemen. 一个男正站在两名警察中间。 --among 在….之间（三者或三者以上）

She is running among the people. 她在人群中跑着。 The village is on a river. 我们的村庄靠近一条小河。

--on是介词，在这里不是表示―在…这上‖,而是―邻近，靠近‖的意思，相当near. Here is another photograph of the village. Another photograph of the village is here. another 另一个（指三者或三者以上的另一个），后面加单数可数名词。

--I don‘t like this pen. Give me another one. 我不喜欢这支钢笔，再给我另外一支。（说明钢笔至少有三支） --the other 指两者中的另一个，句型one…the other….

--One student is going to Beijing; the other student is going to Shanghai. 一个学生去北京，另一个学生去上海。（说明只有两个学生）

--One knife is sharp; the other two are blunt. 一把刀是锋利的，另外两把是顿的。 （不可以用another,因为刀只有两种，一种是锋利的，一种是钝的）

--Ms. Lee and I are reading newspapers. 我和李女士正在看报纸。 --along… 介词―沿着…..‖

--The children are running along the street.

--A ship is going along the river. 一艘轮船正沿着河行驶。 --the banks of the river 河岸

--of….. ―…的‖ ，起修饰限定作用 --on the left 在左边 --in the middle 在中间

--in the middle of 在…的中间

--There are some chairs in the middle of the garden. 在花园的中间有一些椅子。 --across 介词―横过‖指在某物表面上穿过。 --beside: next to 在….的旁边

--The boy is sitting beside the driver.这个男孩坐在司机的旁边。 --There is a village beside the sea. 有一个村庄座落在海边。 --beside the point 和主要问题没有任何关系 --near prep. 靠近…., 离….近

--some of the employees are lazy. 雇没当中有几个人比较懒。 类似的用法：

--none of + 名词复数 表示….当中没有一个人

None of the students is lazy. 没有一个学生是懒的。 --none pron. 没有，无 --beside prep. 在….旁边

--There is a tree beside the house. 在房子的旁边有一棵树。

--My sister is sitting beside my father.我的姐姐正坐在爸爸的旁边。 --off prep. 离开

--jump off…. 跳离…..(从….跳下来)

The two children are jumping off the tree. 这两个孩子正从树上跳下来。 --fall off…… 从…..掉下来

--Some books are falling off the shelf. 一些书正从架子上面掉下来。

--work v. 工作

--work hard 努力工作(hard 副词修饰动词) --hard work 艰苦的工作(形容词修饰名词) --hard-working 勤奋的

--Hi is a hard-working employee.

--We must work hard. 我们必须努力工作。

--That‘s hard work. 那是艰苦的工作（做名词讲是不可数名词） --job 任何有报酬的工作（可数名词）

--He has a good job in the bank. 他在银行里有一份很好的工作。 --hard adv. 努力地

--take it hard 承受很深的打击。

--His mother died, and he is taking it hard. 她的妈妈死了，他正承受着悲痛。 --The ice is as hard as rock. 这块冰硬得象一块岩石。 --make v. 做 --make the tea --make the coffee --make the bed 铺床 --make a meal 做饭

--His mother is making a meal. 他的妈妈正在做饭。

1． 表示打算要做某事。

--My sister is going to visit her teacher tomorrow. 我的姐姐打算去拜访她的老师。 --I am going to put the bookcase beside the desk. 我打算把书橱放在书桌旁边。 2.表示按计划，安排要发生的事。

--The meeting is going to begin at nine. 会议将在九点开始。 3.表示某件事即将要发生。

--It is going to rain! 天要下雨了！ --She‘s going to faint! 她要晕倒了！

--The books are going to fall. 书要掉下来了。 结构： be going to do

1. to 后面一定要加动词原形。

2. be按人称和数的变化而采取不同的形式。 --make a bookcase

--I am going to make a bookcase. 我打算做一个书橱。 --cook a meal

--She is going to cook a meal. 她要做一顿饭。

--They are going to swim in the river. 他们要去江里游泳。 疑问句: 把系动词提前

--Are you going to paint the bookcase pink? 你打算把书橱刷成粉色的吗？ --Yes, I am. No, I am not.

--Is he going to clean the car? 他要洗车吗？ --Yes, he is. No, he isn‘t. 否定句：系动词后面加not

--They are not going to work there. 他们不打算到那去工作。

--She isn‘t going to give her new pen to him. 她不打算把她的新笔给他。 特殊疑问句

--What areyou/we/they/ going to do？你（们）/我们/他们要做什么？ --What is he/ she/ going to do? 他/她打算做什么？

--What is your mother going to do? 你的妈妈打算要做什么？

--What colour are you going to paint the bookcase? 你打算把书橱涂上什么颜色？ --What size are your going to buy? 你打算买多大尺码的？ Questions:

1. What colour is George going to paint the bookcase? George 打算把书橱刷成什么颜色？I‘m going

to paint it pink.

2. What is susan‘s favourite colour? Susan最喜欢的颜色是什么？ What are you doing? 你在干什么？

What is his brother doing? 他的兄弟在干什么？

What are Miss Smith and Miss Lee doing? 史密斯小姐和李小姐在干什么？ Give me that hammer please, Dan. --give sb sht

--give sth to sb 把某物给某人 --Give my father his shoes. --Give the shoes to my father. --Give them that box. --Give that box to them.

Which hammer = which one --one = hammer

--Their father is going to make a bookcase. 他们的爸爸打算做一个书架。 --We are going to buy a new television. 我们打算买一台新的电视机。 --Is his assistant going to type a letter? 他的助手打算打一封信吗？ --Yes, she is. No, she isn‘t.

--He isn‘t going to clean the car. 他不打算洗车。 --What make are you going to buy?

--What colour are you going to paint the room? 你打算把房间刷成什么颜色的？ I‘m going to paint it pink. 动词 +名词/代词+形容词 --paint it pink

This bookcase isn‘t for me.

--for prep. 给…..的（后面的代词用宾格或名词） --That book is for him. 那本书是给他的。

--The socks are not for her. 这双袜子不是给她的。 --Are there letters for me? 这些信是我的吗？
