My pleasant trip
One day when I was in Grade 7, I went to Fuyan Hill with my friends by bike. First we climbed the hill, then we flew kites, At noon we sat on the grass having a picnic. The weather was pretty fine that day. In the afternoon we met several soldiers who were only a little older than us. So we could play games together and they also told us interesting stories. We laughed and laughed happily.
What a pleasant trip! I will never forget it.

How to Keep Fit

Thanks for your last letter. What is my “important gift”? It’s a candy.
When I was five, my mom went shopping with me. But we couldn’t find each other
at last. I had to stand on the roadside and waited with tears in my eyes. It was so long that I felt very helpless. At that time a woman came up to me and gave me a candy. At once I didn’t feel afraid any more. With her help I got back home finally. Though a candy is small and cheap, it made me happy and warm.

First, don't waste things. We'd better go to school on foot or ride a bike instead of taking a car. Turn off the lights as soon as we leave the classroom. Remember to turn off the tap at once after washing our hands. When we go out to eat in a restaurant, ask for smaller dishes and take leftover home. Before we buy something new, think whether it is necessary.
Next, use things for as long as possible. When we buy things, make sure that they last along time. Don't use a paper cup or a paper bag. It's better to use a china cup and a lunch box because you can use them again.
Finally, collect what can be recycled in your classroom or in your neighborhood and sell them. We should also buy things made from recycled materials.
In a word, I think one thing we should keep in mind is that no matter what a small effort we make, it do make a difference.
