一个句子当中,已经存在一个主句(谓语动词),又没有连词的情况下,还有别的动词出现时。这时理解为非谓语动词。非谓语动词是高考常考的语法项目,主要包括不定式、动

二、非谓语动词
非谓语动词是指不充当谓语而做其他句子成分的动词,凡是用作非谓语的动词在形式上
三、非谓语动词使用条件:
名词、现在分词和过去分词。
e. g. ①She got off the bus, but left her handbag on her seat. ②She got off the bus, leaving her handbag on her seat. 第1小题因为存在连词but连接两个分句,故理解为一个并列句。而第2小题没有连词,leaving现在分词短语理解为got off的伴随状语。
四、非谓语动词的解题思路
解答考查非谓语动词的题目时,一定要保持冷静头脑,要遵循以下解题思路。
1.分析句子结构,辨别“谓语和非谓语”
1)._ C __many times, but he still couldn’t understand it. 2).__ A _many times, he still couldn’t understand it. A. Having been told 2 B. Told

第1小题因为存在连词but连接两个分句,故理解为一个并列句,所以空白中缺谓语动词,故选C;而第2小题没有连词,tell和逻辑主语he之间是被动,并且tell动作发生在understand之前,故选现在分词的完成式表示原因状语。
2.找逻辑主语:非谓语动词虽不能作谓语,但仍具有动词特点,其逻辑上的动作执行者就做逻辑主语。
1)Being unhappy, she phones her friend to chat. 2)He wants to rest.
3) She is reading a book borrowed from the library. 4) His being late makes us angry. He being late makes us angry. 5) The birds singing, it is a nice day. 例:

3.分析语态:分析语态就是在确定逻辑主语之后,分析非谓语动词和逻辑主语在搭配使用时是主动还是被动关系。
