探究二 Sentence focus 重点句型详解

1 I wonder , Mr Adams , if you’d mind us asking a few questions .

I wonder if (whether) you … 是表示礼貌地提问或委婉请求的句式,译为 :不知您是否… Would/Do you mind...?劳驾你……好吗? ……你不介意吧? 将下列句子译成英语:

(1)不知道你能否愿意借些钱给我。

句式提取:find+oneself+宾语补足语

“find+oneself+宾语补足语”指不知不觉地发现自己处于某种情况中,多表示意料之外的情况,可用形容词、介词短语、现在分词及过去分词作宾补。

其后跟复合宾语的动词还有:see,hear,watch,notice,have等。 1)find + 宾语+adj./adv./过去分词/ 现在分词 /介词短语 I found the job boring.

I found him in his own room.

He hurried to the store, only to find the door closed.

2)find oneself doing sth./ at / in 意识到自己非本意地干某事或处于某种境地 Peter,who was usually shy, found himself talking to the girls.
