Moudle 2 Friendship Unit 2 No one knew who I was 课型:读写课 【学习目标】

知识目标:掌握下列重点单词和词组的意思及用法gift, junior, far away ,lonely, afraid ,be afraid to do ,anyone ,laugh , worry ,usual ,pass, bright ,matter believe等

能力目标:1.能够使用that, if , who, why等引导的宾语从句 2.掌握故事的写作方式,介绍自己的经历

情感目标:培养学生互相关爱的情感,学习爱人和关心人 【教学重难点】:

重点句式:1. I can't wait to meet you. 2. I'm quite shy when I'm with strangers. 3. You sound great fun.

4. I'm very excited about coming to China.

难点突破:学习表感觉和知觉的系动词及系表结构,并学会一些描述人的长相和性格的表达方式,进一步掌握和运用宾语从句。

如:I feel stupid when I get bad marks and I get angry with myself----I should work harder. 【教学过程】 检查词汇预习:

让学生齐读本课158页的新单词和短语(from gift to at first),目的是培养学生的朗读习惯,同时巩固预习效果。齐读后,小组内成员互相检查单词、短语等的预习情况。老师每组抽查一人。

旧知检测:听写下列短语(组长交叉检查)

(一)目的性泛读:快速阅读“ A beautiful smile”, read carefully and complete them.

1.小组内合作解决activity 2的意思,找出不懂的地方。 2.小组间合作解决不懂的地方,教师适时点拨。 五、突破难点

(一)对重点内容宾语从句进行合作探究学习。 1. 辨析:alone 与lonely

①lonely adj “孤独的,寂寞的”。 如:He is a lonely person .他是个孤独的人。

拓展:“感到寂寞”feel lonely “荒凉偏僻的山村”a lonely mountain village 自主举例:

②alone 作形容词强调客观上“单独的,独自的”,在句中多作表语。 如:She was alone in that dark room .他独自一人待在那件黑暗的屋子里。 He likes living alone .他喜欢独自生活。 自主举例: 2. matter

①作动词,“有关系,要紧”。 如:It doesn't matter .不要紧。 自主举例:

②作名词,译为“事情,问题”。

如:It's a matter of importance .这是很重要。

自主举例:

③变为复数时译为“事态,情况”。

如:Don't make matters worse .不要使事态变得更糟糕 自主举例:

3. be afraid to do sth 意思是“ ________________”。 表示“不敢”,只凭经验和一般常识不敢做某事。如:She was afraid to wake her best friend up. 自主举例:

对比记忆:be afraid of 后接名词,表示“害怕某物”,接动名词表示“担心,害怕”发生某种后果。

如:She is afraid of dogs .她怕狗。

She was afraid of going out at night .她害怕晚上出去。 自主举例:

4. Every time I heard the other students talking and laughing, I felt my heart break.中的every time 意思是“___________”,也可以换成each time。类似的句型和短语还有:

①“及时”__________________ ②“准时” __________________ ③“到该做什么的时间了” ____________________________________ ④“到某人该做某事的时间了” ____________________________________ 5. He looked at me and, without a word, smiled.

without 是介词,意思是“___________”。而with意思是“___________”。二者都可以表示一种伴随状况,注意后面接名词或动名词。 自主举例:

6.One day , I asked him why he smiled, but he couldn't remember smiling at me. 区分:remember doing和 remember to do ①remember doing 强调“记得曾经做过什么”。 自主举例:

②remember to do强调“记得去做什么”。 自主举例: 7.小组自我补充

(二)自主完成后,小组合作,交流学习成果,共同释疑。 (三)学生朗读巩固以上重点知识。 六、归纳短语

(一)通过对文章的学习,让学生归纳文章中的短语,可以小组合作,然后通过实物投影呈现出一个小组的成果,然后其他小组补充完善。
