Good morning, thank you all for coming here about the recycle program at our school. Some people say they don’t recycle because the rooms are too confusing and tasks too difficult. Well, I am sure this is not true about our program. The recycling we’ve planned is simply a three-part program: sorting, collecting and delivering. The first part--- sorting is also the hardest one. Most people don’t like to take the time to separate their rubbish and this is usually why most recycle programs fail. However, we have reasons to believe that our words will work. From now on, instead of seeing the usual black rubbish cans all over the school, you will see three different colors of rubbish cans. Pink cans are for paper, blue cans are for bottles, and white ones are for all other wastes. Just remember pink, paper, blue, bottle, white, waste. After the rubbish is sorted, it needs to be collected and then taken to the recycling center. Since this recycle program at present is still a volunteer program, we’re asking probably no more than 5 hours per person each week and your job will be to collect the sort of rubbish and take it to different centers for each type of rubbish.
