The generators are protected against the various faults by protection devices which are located in their respective generator panels and on the generator’s ACB itself. 发电机的保护由相应发电机屏内保护设备与发电机主开关实现。

Over-current (Long Time)过电流(长延时):
When the prevailing load current of the generator exceed 125% of the protection device’s setting and maintain for a duration of 15~30s, it will cause the respective generator ACB to trip.
当发电机电流超过额定电流150%时, 延时15~30s 发电机主开关跳闸。

Short-circuit current (Short Time) 过电流 (短延时)
When short-circuit current exceed 2.5 times of the protection device setting and maintain for duration of 400 msec, it will cause the respective generator’s ACB to trip.
当发电机电流超过额定电流250%时, 延时400 ms, 发电机主开关跳闸。

Short circuit current (Instantaneous Trip) 短路电流(瞬时)
When short-circuit current of the generator exceed 10 times of the protection device setting, it will cause the respective generator ACB to trip immediately.
当发电机电流超过额定电流10倍时, 发电机主开关瞬时跳闸。
Reverse power relay逆功率继电器
This device is located in the individual generator panel and built in PPU. During parallel
running when a DG start absorbing power from other DG in exceeding a preset value (10% of it’s rated power) of the it’s protection device and if maintained for a duration of 10s, the generator’s ACB will be tripped by the device.
该装置在发电机屏内,当并联运行时一台发电机从其他发电机吸收功率持续超过某个值(10%的额定功率)10s,发电机主开关跳闸
Undervoltage release欠压脱扣装置
This device which is located in the generator’s ACB, providing protection against undervoltage.
该装置在发电机主开关上,为发电机提供欠压保护
When the incoming voltage drop below a value between 35% and 70% of the respective rated voltage, this release device will trip the ACB after a short period of time ranging from about 0.3 sec to 0.5 sec. The short time delay is to prevent the ACB from tripping in the event of the transient voltage dip.
当发电机的电压低于发电机额定电压35% 与 70%之间时, 欠压脱扣装置延时0.3 sec ~ 0.5 sec 动作, 发电机主开关跳闸。延时是为了避免电压瞬时波动,而导致发电机跳闸。
Preferential trip relay优先脱扣继电器
This device which is located in the individual generator pane and built in PPU, provides the first stage of over-current protection against a eventual tripping of the generator’s ACB during heavy load condition. When the prevailing generator current exceed the preset value (100% of generator’s rated current) of the protection device and maintain for a duration of 5s or 10s, it will trip the all the assigned non essential loads thus preventing the load current from reaching the critical threshold value.
当发电机电流超过额定电流100%时, 发电机屏内PPU 中的优先脱扣继电器动作,延时5s ~10s,将一些不重要负载切断 。

Black-out processing function全船失电处理功能:
The Main PLC issues a engine start signal to the DG defined within the priority management function and couple the DG to the main bus, thus completing the black-out processing function.
当一台在网发电机发生故障,主开关跳闸,导致全船失电。 PLC 立刻发给另一台发电机起动
命令。当该发电机达到额定电压85%,主开关合闸。全船失电处理功能完成。

Bus abnormal processing function (with blackout)汇流排异常处理功能(包括汇
流排失电):
The Main PLC initiates the starting of the DG defined by the priority management function. Upon voltage build-up, a CB trip signal is issued to disconnect the duty DG and subsequently coupling the running standby DG to the main bus, thus completing the bus abnormal processing function.
当汇流排异常时, PLC 立刻发给另一台发电机起动命令。当该发电机达到额定电压85%,主
开关合闸。实施负载转移之后,发给故障发电机停止负载转移, 主开关分闸。汇流排异常处理功能完成。

Underload detection and processing function轻载解列功能:
This function is activated when two or more DG are coupled to the bus. When the prevailing load of each DG drops below the parameterized percentage of it’s rated capacity and for a duration in exceeding the parameterized time, the DG to be taken off from the main bus are predefined by the priority management function, will undergo the process of load shifting, uncoupling and engine stopping.
当两台或更多台发电机在网,如果每台发电机的负载低于预先设定值,则PLC发出负载转
移命令,将其中一台发电机负载转移之后,该发电机主开关分闸,发出停机命令。

Large motor start request processing function重载问询功能
Whenever a large consumer initiates a start request signal to the PMS, the Main PLC will check for available power. If the available power is sufficient to provide for the large motor without exceeding 85% of coupled DG’s rated capacity, the Main PLC will then issue a start authorized signal back to the calling consumer. Otherwise the Main PLC will initiate the startup, auto coupling and load sharing sequence of the next DG predefined by the priority management function via the respective generator PLC. Subsequently the Main PLC will computed the available power to confirm it is sufficient, before issuing the start authorized signal to the calling consumer.
In the event if no DGs are available for the addition power requirement, then the start authorized signal will not be issued and calling consumer will be prevent from running until manual overriding by operator. 当功率管理系统接收到重载询问信号时,PLC计算在网发电机剩余有效功率。如果剩余有效功率能满足大电动机起动(未超过发电机额定功率85%),PLC发出重载起动认可信号。如果剩余有效功率不能满足大电动机起动,PLC先发出给予备用发电机起机命令,自动并车,负载均分,最后PLC发出发出重载起动认可信号。
3、MSB operating procedure操作方式
3.1 Under Manu mode手动模式:
With single DG running:单台发电机运行

Put the control of the selected DG to remote control possible to enable the remote starting of engine from the MSB.
发电机转到遥控, 将主配电板同步屏上发电机控制开关选择到起动位置,发电机起动。 2.
Once the DG speed has pickup, the operator shall release the ENGINE CONTROL switch letting it self-return to the neutral position. The DG should run up to or close the rated speed. Simultaneously the generator output voltage should reach the rated value.
一旦发电机运转起来,放掉发电机控制开关手柄, 开关将自动恢复到断开位置。 发电机将以额定速度运转。同时,发电机输出电压将达到额定电压。 3.
The frequency of the generator output voltage can now be monitored on the respective frequency meter and if the value has deviated, the operator can bring back to the rated value by adjusting the DG speed
