Unit 4 Li Ming Comes Home Lesson 19 Buying Gifts

【知识目标】

1、学会本课中的三会词汇:flag, surprise。

2、会运用how many询问数量,用how much询问价钱。 3、理解并会朗读短文。

【能力目标】发展学生综合运用语言的能力,培养学生自主探究的能力及与同学的分工合作的能力。

【情感目标】激发学生学习热情与参与欲望,能够大胆开口,主动模仿,调动学习积极性。培养学生热爱生活,珍爱家人和朋友的意识。

【教学重点】重点单词和句型的理解和掌握。会运用how many询问数量,用how much询问价钱。

【教学难点】创设语言情境,运用重点单词和句型。能运用本课所学,运用how many询问数量,用how much询问价钱。

◆ 教学目标 ◆ 教学准备 ◆ Tape recorder, Multimedia Step1. Warm-up Free talk about gifts. Have you ever got a gift? When do people usually get gifts? What gifts do you like? Step 2. Presentation

1. Li Ming will fly home next week. He wants to buy some gifts for his family. What will he buy? 2. Learn to use “how many” and “how much”.

◆ 教学过程 1

What do you want to buy for your friends? I want to buy some little flags. How many flags do you need? I need three. How much are they? They're three dollars. OK, I'll take them.

how many 是特殊疑问词组,意思是“多少”, 经常对名词的数量提问。后接可数名词复数形式。

how much 是特殊疑问词组,意思是“多少钱”, 用来提问物品的价钱。 Step 3. Drills

Circle the key words you learn. gift, surprise, how many, how much Step 4. Practice

1. Read Part1, then answer the questions. How many caps will Li Ming take? Four.

How much are the caps? They're 20 dollars.

How many T-shirts will Li Ming take? Three.

How much is the T-shirt? It's 9 dollars.

Does Li Ming want a toy for his cousin? Yes, he does. How much is the toy? It's 10 dollars.

Will Li Ming buy a gift for Jenny? Yes, he will.

How much are all the gifts?

They're 60 dollars. 2. Let’s act.

Make conversations according to the pictures. Then act your conversation out. Step5. Summary and evaluation 1. Go through the key words and structures. 2. Ask the students to give themselves an evaluation. Step6. Homework
