4. Dos: 1) Cool burns with running water. 2) Take off the clothing and jewellery near burns. 3) Place cool, clean, wet cloth on the first, second degree burns. 4) Dry the burned area gently. 5) Cover the burned area with dry, clean bandage and hold it in place with tape.

Don’ts:1) Take off clothing stuck to the burn. 2) Put cold water on the third degree burns.
