(1)friendly是形容词，意为“友好的”，相当于kind，是friend的形容词形式。be friendly to sb.意为“对某人友好”，相当于be kind to sb.。如：
①Kate is a friendly girl.凯特是个很友好的女孩。
①My classmates are all friendly to me.我的同学们都对我很友好。 (2)smart着重强调“伶俐的；灵敏的”，既可修饰人也可修饰动物。
【辨析】(1)clever意为“聪明的”，作形容词，主要用来形容人或动物的脑子灵活，理解事情很快。其反义词为foolish。如：
Tom is a clever boy.汤姆是一个聪明的男孩。
(2)cute多用来形容动物，通常指某种动物可爱。如： Koalas are very cute.考拉很可爱。
