1.She must read more often and use English more often. more often 意思是“更经常地┄”,放在动词后。
e.g. We must speak English more often if we want to learn English well. 2, Suzy is a clever student, but sometimes does not do her best. do one`s best 意为“尽全力;尽某人最大努力”,相当于“try one`s best”。e.g.: I′m sorry you didn′t win ,but I′m sure you did your best. 很遗憾你没赢,但我相信你尽力了。
I failed in my English ,but I did my best.我英语考试没及格,但我尽力了。 3:同义词辨析: sometime, some time, sometimes, some times.
(1) sometime是副词,表示在过去或将来的某个时候,指的是时间点,用于
过去时或将来时,对它进行提问用when。
(2) some time是名词短语,表示“一些时候,一段时间”,指时间段。对它进
行提问时用how long.
(3) sometimes是副词,表示动作发生的频率,意思是“有时”。对它进行提
问时用how soon。
(4) some times 是名词短语,意为“几次(倍)”,对它进行提问用how many
times

(1).get better results in sth 表示“在……方面取得更好的成绩”。例如:I hope you can get better results in English.我希望你能在英语方面取得更好的成绩。 (2)if作为连词,在此意为“如果”,用来引导条件状语从句,通常主句用一般将来时,而从句用一般现在时。例如:If you study hard ,you will study Well.如果你努力学,你就会学好。If he runs he will not be late for school.
