II. Grammar
1. can / could 为情态动词,can 为现在式形式,could为过去式形式。其后接动词原形,否定形式分别为cannot, can not/can’t与could not/couldn’t如:I can climb tress, but I can’t swim. He could draw pictures when he was young. (1) can 的具体用法如下:
①can表示能力“会,能” ②也可表示客观可能性。
③同时也表示“建议或请求”。可用Can I…?或Can you…?等结构,语气比较客气。
④表示“允许”或“请求允许”。其意思相当于may(可以)。但can比may用的更广泛。
⑤表示惊讶、怀疑、不相信等态度(主要用于否定句和疑问句),can't 还可以表示“不可能”之意。如: Mr Wang can't be at home. He is abroad now. (2) could表示过去的能力,更为客气、委婉的提出请求或陈述看法,有时则表示可能性不大。

2. 感叹句 概念:是用来表示喜怒哀乐等强烈感情的句子。
结构:.感叹句通常由感叹词What或how构成,具体结构如下:

(3)What+形容词+不可数名词+ (主谓)! What sad music (it is)!

3. 祈使句 定义:祈使句是用来发出命令或指示,提出要求、建议、劝告等的句子。祈使句的第二人称主语you通常不表示出来,而是以动词原形开头。 (1)Positive instruction(肯定性指令)

(1)should的用法: should意为“应该”,表示主语的职责、义务或说话人的劝告,侧重于向别人建议怎样做才最合适。Should不如must那样语气强烈。should的否定形式为 shouldn’t.
(2)must的用法
① 表示“必须,应该”在第二、三人称中表示说话人的命令或要求。 ②must的否定有两个,当回答由must引起的问题时,否定回答用needn’t 或don’t have to,表示不必或无须。当表示“不应该,禁止”时用must not /mustn’t。 ③have to的含义与must接近,只是have to着重强调客观要求,must着重说明主观看法, ④表示推测,只用于肯定句,意思是“一定,大概”否定性的猜测应用can’t,不用mustn’t
