Recently I had a discussion about ways to learn English with my classmate Joe. In his opinion, the best ways to learn English are by reading English newspapers and by talking with friends in English. He also believes that watching English films isn’t a bad way.

However, I think we can find some English articles to read by searching on the Internet. Also, we can find some pen pals from English-speaking countries so that we can improve our English by writing e-mails to them. Finally, joining an English club is also a great help.

My ways of learning English

Now I have lots of ways of learning English. For example, I study by memorizing words and looking up new words in a dictionary. I've learned a lot that way. It makes me have a large vocabulary.

I think studying grammar is the best way to learn English well. If you do so, you can understand English more easily. And listening to tapes can practice our pronunciation. It also can improve our speaking skills. We can copy their pronunciation.

And another good way of learning English is keeping an English notebook. That might really helps. And sometimes I study by writing my own original sentences using the grammar I am learning. It helps to write English every day. Keeping a diary in English also helps. I have so many ways to study English. What about you?
