3. In fact, I used to dream about playing professional football and possibly representing my country in the World Cup. (现在分词作伴随状语,其逻辑主语是I; representing= on behalf of) 4. Every time I returned after an absence, I felt stupid because I was behind the others.

(every time是名词词组作连词,引导时间状语从句。类似的词组还有:the first time, the last time, the moment, the second等。)

5. The few who cannot see the real person inside my body don’t make me annoyed, and I just ignore them. (the few: the+adj.表示一类人。make me annoyed结构:make+sb/sth+adj./n. 其中adj./n. 是make的宾语补足语,用来补充说明其宾语的状态。)

6. I have a very busy life with no time to sit around feeling sorry for myself. (现在分词作

伴随状语,其逻辑主语是I 。)

7. To look after my pets properly takes a lot of time but I find it worthwhile. (worthwhile 值得的;be worthwhile doing sth. 值得做??)

8. If I had a chance to say one thing to healthy children, it would be this: having a

disability doesn’t mean your life is not satisfying. (该句使用了虚拟语气中对现在的时间表示假设。请复习虚拟语气的三种句式。)

9. Just accept them for who they are, and give them encouragement to live as rich and full a life as you do. (结构:as +adj. +a/an +n. + as, 用于比较说明前后两者在某方面相等。) Step 6. Presentation.
