Analysis of the fourth period Grade 7, Book B, Unit7,Section B(1a-1e)

I. Analysis of the material

整个Unit7单元的核心话题是以谈论天气和人们在干什么而展开的听，说，读，写的活动。因此如何问答“How’s the weather ? What are you doing? What ‘s he/she doing是单元教学的重点，本节课的重点是学习描述天气的形容词，问天气的句式并复习现在进行时，要求学生熟练掌握并正确运用描述天气的词类和句式。培养学生在实际生活中综合运用所学语言的能力。Section A主要是听读说和基础语言运用，为目标句型提供分步示例和指导性练习；Section B知识扩展、新旧知识的运用，循序渐进的写作练习；运用所学的语言完成各种任务使学生能够对已经学过的目标句型运用自如：Self -Check自我评价，词汇知识的评价，语言应用能力的评价。

II. Backgrounds information

在七年级上册教材中已经学习过现在进行时，但对用英语谈论天气，还比较陌生，复习“现在进行时“时师生可随时设置情景，贴近实际，学生在生动活泼的氛围中掌握教学内容。且在本单元sectionA部分已经学习过描述天气的形容词及复习了现在进行时，所以sectionB部分应当进一步扩展知识，反复操练，新旧知识相互交替，sectionB的第一课时主要是训练学生听说的能力。

? 1a 部分是对section A 关于天气话题的继续和拓展。 ? 1b 主要训练说的技能，是复习本单元的How’s the weather?句型，并代入学习Section B 部分的新单词。

? 1c 和 1d 是训练听和写的技能，同时加深复习section A 部分的重点句型。

? 1e 部分是role-play，重复操练本单元句型和单词。

V. Teaching objectives

? 教学突破

1）对于本课的单词，短语的教学，主要是通过图片，动画及音频等多媒体素材来创设问题情景，在教师的引导下，让学生说出能体现问题情景的单词或短语，这样一方面给予学生更多的学习空间，另一方面也培养了学生的想象力和创造力，提高了学生的学习积极性和主动性。

2）在听力和pairwork的训练中，主要还是采用学生们喜欢的动画来进行授课，教师先通过投影仪来向学生展示问题情景，学生们可通过自己的思考和同伴的讨论来获取对本环节的认识，然后在老师的引导下解决本环节的知识难点和重点。
