(1)In recent years more and more homes are being pushed outwards as the activities of business, government and pleasure tend to be concentrated in the centers of the cities. (2)Although most people are reluctant to move to the outskirts of the cities, I feel like living in the suburbs.

(3)It is true that the city can provide much convenience and entertainment, the very reason people can’t bear to part with city life. (4)But the cost for

the privilege of living in the city is also high. (6)Besides, as the housing problem in the central city gets more serious, people have to pay high rents for very tiny flats which I would certainly disdain to live in.

(7)In contrast, living near the countryside one can enjoy the clean atmosphere, the closeness to nature and the quiet, peaceful surroundings—the essentials of a healthy life. (8)Nothing can be compared, as the pace of modern life is getting quicker, with the first cock crow, the twittering of birds at dawn, and sight of the rising sun glinting on the trees and green fields.

(9)Although living in the suburbs you may suffer a little discomfort brought

about by the necessity of traveling miles to work every day, the situation will change soon as many highways and subways are being constructed.

(10)The new suburban life is fast becoming a predominant pattern of living in most cities; and with the development of traffic and the perfection of services, it will prove to hold great superiority over city life.

Newspaper as a Better Source of News

(1)For most of us today, television has become our main source of daily news.

(2)This is unfortunate, however, because for several reasons newspapers should be regarded as a better source.

(3)It is true that television news can vividly bring into our living rooms dramatic events of singular importance, such as space launchings, natural disasters, wars and so on, but it can not cover important stories in the depth they may deserve because of its time limitation. (4)On the contrary, print news excels in its ability to devote as much space to a story as it sees fit, though it can not compete with television visually. (5)Besides, television is essentially a passive medium. (6)Whether we like a particular piece of news or not, all we have to do is sit in front of the tube and “let it happen”. (7)But a newspaper reader can select what he is interested in, skip what he thinks is boring or

irrelevant and read it any time he likes to. (8)Most importantly, if all of us get news and information exclusively from television, there will be a decline in general literacy. (9)By contrast, although to follow and absorb a newspaper article is a little bit hard as it requires a high level of mental involvement, it helps to develop one’s intellectual skills.

(10)When we consider television versus newspaper papers on the basis of nature, format and coverage, shouldn’t we think the latter is a better source of our daily news.

I would like to travel to Darnassus. That’s really a beautiful place which lies under the world tree called taidaxier. It’s my hometown and a purple world. When you wander around, you can see tall ancient trees above your head，crystal streams running through the grass.

Of course, it’s safe here and don’t worry about your enemies because I’m an Night Elf, and it’s also our night elves harbor. Our ancestors built vast palaces, which looks so spectacular. In a word，if you ever came，you would never want to leave. However, I consider it as my paradise because I am a warrior, and I can take much freedom to enjoy myself ,besides, most of the regulations are reasonable and satisfies me.

When I kill many people and finish my daily tasks，with tired steps，I come back to Darnassus which would make me relax and calm. Life here is so simple that the only thing you need to consider is to kill more enemies. I love simple life which is far more different from the real world, you know, sometimes it’s not our fault, but the environment and regulations are wrong. The slogan“for alliance”get us together here which makes you feel a sense of belonging. If I want to go out fighting, Darnassus is always here waiting for us all. Even the wound hurt you most can be cured here when you step into this beautiful pacific place. Maybe the only pity is that I

can’t study physics here.

我去过的地方 多篇

你去过木兰天池吗？来到木兰天池，我才知道天有多蓝，水有多绿。

十一国庆节，我和爸爸妈妈来到木兰天池，抬头望去，连绵的青山穿着小草织成的绒衣。山下有一条小河，河水清澈见底，像一条透明的绸子。

我们开始爬山，山上到处都是绿荫和瀑布，我发现前面有一座吊桥，我不知道吊桥有多恐怖，走到吊桥中间，不知道哪个人故意摇晃，吓得我心就要跳到嘴巴边。

我们继续爬山，山上随处可见一条条清澈的小溪，山半腰有个聪明泉，只要喝了那里面的泉水会越来越聪明，我连忙上去拿着舀子，舀了满满一舀子泉水，咕噜咕噜的喝起来，妈妈看着我高兴的笑了。

沿着崎岖的山路，我一边游玩，一边爬山，好不容易爬到山顶，真是：“柳岸花明又一村”。原来木兰天池是山顶有一个水坎，因为在山顶，所以叫天池。

我高兴来到天池旁边，在蔚蓝的天空下，天池水泛起层层波澜。一阵风吹起来，像棉花絮一样亲着我的脸，天池的水也随着风松松的波荡着。像一位美女拖着裙子轻轻摇摆着，像柳树姑娘飘着长发。

天色已晚，我们要下山了，我一步三回头的看着那碧绿的天池，像蔚蓝的天空融了一块在天池的水中，此时，雨渐渐的下起来，我情不自禁地念起来：“水光潋滟晴方好，山色空蒙雨亦奇”。

终于放暑假了，今天，我，妈妈，外婆要去极地海洋世界玩。

我们坐上了旅游大巴，准备向武汉新开的极地海洋世界出发，盼着盼着，终于到了，我就像离玄的箭一样飞奔了进去。

哇！太美了，简直跟童话城堡一样，里面的景色令我眼花缭乱，应接不暇，我们走进了海洋地道，里面有行动敏捷的海马，海马的背挺的很直，显得它更像公主般的美丽，还有笨笨的大海龟，都好像触手可及。在动物表演馆里，我听到海宝的咆哮的声音，而且还第一次听到美妙的海豚的声音，摸到那海豚那光滑的皮肤，我第一次和海豚近距离接触，看到海豚顶皮球??

令我印象最深的是——北极熊！有两只北极熊，一个是哥哥，一个是妹妹，它们出生于大连老虎滩，千里迢迢来到武汉安家。哥哥的名字叫乐乐，是个点型的“人来疯”,而妹妹就叫做静静，它的性格就像它的名字一样，比哥哥文静多了。

我去过宜昌美丽的三峡人家和风景秀丽的清江画廊，那是前不久的国庆节我和爸爸妈妈一起去的，虽然很好玩可是时间太紧张，所以还没玩够就回来了。

清晨一大早，我和爸爸妈妈就出发了，开始了新的一次旅游。

在玩的时候记得最清楚的地方是明月阁，我对那里最刺激的明月索道又爱又怕，对那里野生的炸鱼爱不释手，对那里美丽的风景所陶醉，对那里可爱的猕猴哭笑不得，对那里精彩的表演迷住了?? 那里一切真美好！

就从明月索道说起吧！明月索道是参观怪石用的，那里怪石特多，什么“悟空石啦， 月亮石啦，猕猴等等，索道缓缓行驶大家很好参观了。

就说小炸鱼吧，我的口水流下三千尺，因为那里的小炸鱼真的太好吃了，外酥里嫩，美味可口，好吃极了！ 我一口可以吃五条呢！“小心肚子吃坏”妈妈提醒爱吃小炸鱼的人。

那里的风景秀丽，仿佛让人走进了童话世界，走过的人都大开眼见，连见多识广的爸爸也也从未见过这么美丽迷人的风景，更别说我啦，我的嘴巴张的大大的，半天合不拢。 更好玩的要数野生猕猴了，它想打路过的人??

宜昌太好玩了下次我还要去！

“江南好风景旧曾谙，日出江花红胜火，春来江水绿如蓝，能不忆江南？”在车上我欢快的诵唱古人赞美江南的诗歌，随着旅游团我和妈妈一起来到了中国第一水乡——江南的周庄。

来到周庄首先映入眼帘的是一片灰墙青瓦，墙角飞檐的老房子。根据导游的介绍我们走上了古色古香的双桥。双桥一个桥孔方，一个桥孔弯很像古时候的钥匙，所以又叫钥匙桥。桥下流水悠悠，农家女摇着小木船嘴里哼着轻柔的江南的小调，载着游客从桥下缓缓而过显得那么的悠闲自得，我国旅美画家陈沈飞曾经画了一幅双桥图在海内外引起了轰动，因此周庄的双桥因此而驰名中外。

接着我们来到了张厅和沈厅 ，沈厅要比张厅大好多好多，而且更加富丽堂皇，沈家，的后花园那儿真美，花儿万紫千红，亭亭玉立，阿娜多姿，绿树翠竹。

午饭后，我们开始自由活动了，我买了一幅画，上面画着太平桥，卖画的人说：“只要走过太平桥，你的一生就会太平的。”我还忘记告诉你我还是第一次坐轿子呢！在停车场我们正好赶上了舞狮子的表演，我还捧着舞狮子的人的舞狮球拍了好多照片呢!在导游的催促下我才依依不舍的离开这如诗如画的周庄。

周庄的小桥流水人家给我留下深刻的印象，难怪台湾著名的作家三毛曾经游过感叹到：“周庄才是梦中的故乡”

我去过的地方很多，要数我最想去的地方，那还是九寨沟。

今年暑假，我和爸爸妈妈一起去被誉为童话世界的九寨沟， 我真想让火车长一双快点的翅膀飞到九寨沟。

我们到了成都，参观了宽窄巷子，武侯祠，四川博物馆??接着第二天，我们坐上了旅游团的大巴车，向童话的九寨沟出发了，我真期待九寨沟啊！

俗话说的好黄山归来不看山，九寨归来不看水。

九寨沟最美的海还是五花海，水倒映着山，山印衬着水，如果你拿着图片会分不清哪是真的，哪是假的。更奇特的还是犀牛海，每到傍晚时分，犀牛海都会飘起一阵雾气，仿佛有神仙似的。每当想起九寨沟的瀑布时我会想起李白写的：“飞流直下三千尺，疑似银河落九天。”

九寨沟里的藏族同胞都很热情好客，他们屋里做的很有特色，每家每户都挂着彩色的金帆在火车上，我不禁想起九寨沟的山和水，九寨沟真让我难忘呀！

暑假里，我们大家一起去风景甲天下的桂林玩。

我们坐火车来到桂林，参观了龙脊梯田。听导游说：“龙脊梯田是人造的，美丽又壮观。”梯田的形状像有七个星星，围绕着一个月亮，所以人们称它为“七星绕月”。第二天我们坐竹筏游漓江。游漓江时，我们看到一个很大的洞，听导游说：“这个洞是很早以前的土匪住的地方”我们又开了一会儿，就来到了一个尖尖的山下，导游说：“它很像竹笋，所以大家叫他竹笋山”你猜一猜我会看见什么山，有的像五指的，有像美人的，有像苹果的?? 最后，我们坐火车回到武汉，回家的感觉真好。
