DESCRIPTION

TheseantennaproductsconnecttoRadioFrequencyModules(RFM)andreader/writerstoformtheinterfacetothelowfrequency(LF)134.2kHzTexasInstrumentstransponders.Incombinationwithareader/writertheytransmitenergyandsignalstothetransponderandreceivetheresponsefromthetag.Therearethreestandardgateantennas(small,mediumandlarge),twostandardstickantennaswith1or3metercablelengthandastickantennaspeciallydesignedforusewiththeMini-RFMavailableforusageinlowfrequencysystems.Eachantennaiscapableofcreatingaspecificsizeandshapeofreadzonetomeettherequirementsofthetargetapplication.Ingeneralthegateantennascreatealargereadzoneincludinggreaterreaddistance,whilethestickantennasprovideamorefocusedreadzoneandanabilitytodiscriminatebetweentransponders.

Theantennasarewellsuitedforusageinabroadrangeofapplicationsincluding,butnotlimitedto,accesscontrol,vehicleidentification,containertracking,assetmanagementandwastemanagementapplications.
