1.播放录音，整体感知。

T: Look！This is Jack. He’s our new friend. Where is he from?

(通过学生自己的文本阅读，很快的找到答案。)

S1： He’s from Ottawa.

T: Where did Jenny live in Ottawa? Let’s listen and find the answer.

引导学生找到答案：“She lived in Young Street.”

T: Jack lived in Young Street,too. So, Jack and Jenny were neighbours in Canada. 出示单词卡，教授“neighbour”.

2.第二遍录音，学习单词。

T: Where does Jack live now?播放光盘，引导学生回答：He lives next to Li Ming. 教师接着说：“Li Ming and Jack are neighbours. They are in a neighbourhood.”教师出示卡片学习“next to”“neighbourhood”。

T: Does he enjoy his stay in Beijing? Why?引导学生通过读文本找到答案“Yes，he does. He likes Chinese food. And the new neighbourhood is nice.”学习新单词“stay”。

3.播放录音，模仿跟读。

学习show, around, idea.

指导学生语音语调。

自己读课文。
